🌸 International Menopause Day 🌸
Menopause is more than a biological transition; it’s a human experience that affects relationships, connection, and community.
As a post-menopausal woman, athlete, and coach, I’ve experienced firsthand how powerful and challenging this transition can be.
Navigating menopause without HRT has been an eye-opener. It’s taught me the importance of exploring adaptogens, lifestyle medicine, movement, and mindset to support not just physical health, but emotional and relational wellbeing too.
💬 When partners, friends, and communities talk openly, transitions become easier.
💞 When men understand menopause and women feel safe to share, we build stronger, more compassionate relationships.
🙌 And when connection replaces silence, we not only improve health outcomes, but we might save relationships.
Healthy relationships are more than emotional; they’re medicine. They support heart, bone, and mental health, reduce symptoms, and help women thrive throughout and beyond menopause.
Menopause deserves to be celebrated, not feared, with open conversation, shared understanding, and holistic support for both women and men.
As a coach, it was vital to complete menopausal education so I could better understand myself and support my clients through this stage of life. Every woman’s journey is different, and with so much noise and misinformation out there, guidance matters.
We’re not small men, and what works for others doesn’t always work for us. Lifting heavy or pushing harder isn’t the answer for everyone.
