You can understand your pain intellectually and still remain stuck emotionally and physically.

That does not mean you are broken.
It may mean your healing needs more than words.

Stress, trauma, grief, and overwhelm are not stored only in thoughts. They are also held in the body, nervous system, and emotional memory. That is why healing often requires more than insight. It requires integration.

I believe healing asks for more than explanation.
It asks for presence.
For safety.
For expression.
For the body to be included in the process.
For the nervous system to be gently supported.
For what has been held inside to find a way to move.

At Active Kreative, this is the heart of what I offer: whole-person healing through creative, somatic, and trauma-informed practice.

Because words can name the wound.
But they do not always release it.

If this speaks to where you are in your journey, you are not alone.

What happens when you stop trying to control the line… and simply let it flow?

In our next Creative Circle, we will explore marbling — a magical art process where colour floats on water and forms unexpected patterns.

No drawing skills needed.
No pressure to create something perfect.

Just colour, water, breath, and curiosity.

As the ink and paint move across the surface, something beautiful happens — you begin to observe rather than control. The colours interact, expand, dissolve and transform… just like emotions and experiences within us.

Inspired by the somatic presence of Peter Levine and the philosophy of flow shared by Alan Watts, this practice invites you to slow down, release tension, and witness what unfolds.

Through marbling we explore:

✨ letting go of control
✨ entering creative flow
✨ observing emotions through colour
✨ mapping the inner landscape

Each artwork becomes a unique reflection of a moment in your inner world.

Come join the Creative Circle and explore yourself through art, colour, and gentle presence.

🎨 No experience needed
💧 All materials provided
🌿 Just bring yourself and your curiosity

Your inner map is waiting to appear on the water.

For Women’s Day, our KOLO circle in Melbourne was filled with flowers. We began with breath and grounding, then each woman chose a flower that resonated with her and created a small garden around it — a space where it could grow.

Slowly, the individual gardens expanded across one shared piece of paper, connecting with rivers, sky, and other flowers. What began as separate spaces became one collective garden.

For Ukrainian women, nature holds deep meaning. Through this simple practice, we reflected on what helps us grow, what supports us, and how beauty and strength can emerge even in new soil.

Just like flowers, women need space, care, and light to grow.
Thank you for the inspiration .creative.pause

Most people think boundaries are about having the “right words.”

But boundaries start before language — they start as a nervous system signal.

Your body often knows:“Too much.”“Too close.”“Not okay.”…before your mind can explain it.

You know someone crossed your boundary when your state changes — even if you don’t say anything out loud. Your throat tightens. Your jaw clenches. Your belly drops. Your mind gets foggy. You feel pressure, guilt, or you go silent… and later you think:“Why did I say yes?”“Why do I feel so drained?”

That wasn’t weakness. That was information. 🌿 Want to practice this in a gentle, creative, trauma-informed way?Join my Atlas workshop: Crossing Boundaries — we explore boundaries through embodied practice and art: mapping personal space with thread, building an inner safe container through visualisation, and integrating what comes up through creative expression.

f you want the workshop details, DM me the word BOUNDARY and I’ll send them through.

Today something triggered fear and discomfort in my body.

Not a story.
A sensation.

Instead of analysing it, I took paper.

I let the line move first — raw, tangled, releasing the charge.

Then I drew a circle.
Sacred geometry as a container.
A boundary my nervous system could feel.

I added colour to regulate.
And gold lines — — to honour the rupture instead of hiding it.

The feeling didn’t disappear.
It reorganised.

Line.
Circle.
Colour.
Gold.

This is how I process intensity.
This is how the body completes stress.

What are you holding that needs a container today?

The world 🗺️ s going through Nigredo stage, if you are in the middle of your collapse right now — hear this.
In alchemy, the first stage of transformation is nigredo — the blackening. The dissolution. The moment everything falls apart. explains that on jis journey

They didn’t call it destruction.
They called it the beginning.

Because before anything new can be created, the old structure must come apart.

Grief. Burnout. The end of a relationship. Moving homes. Losing an identity.
It strips you back to something raw.

And that raw version of you is not broken.
It is ready.

When my world felt like ruins, I picked up a brush. Not to make something beautiful — but to give the grief somewhere to go. The canvas held what I couldn’t. Ash became colour. Colour became pattern. Pattern became power.

Collapse is not the end.
It is compost.

If you’ve ever created something from a painful season, share it below. Someone needs to know it’s possible.

What does your body want to say?

When was the last time you truly listened to everything your body is carrying?

We move through life in survival mode —
holding it all together,
being strong,
pushing through.

But beneath that strength, your body holds layers upon layers of unprocessed emotions, ancestral imprints, forgotten struggles, and silent limitations.

And when given the space… it speaks.

At Atlas, we enter that space safely.

Through rhythmic breath and nervous system regulation.
Through full-body mapping and intuitive colour.
Through tapping, smoothing, pouring paint, and letting the hands move where words cannot reach.

We switch off the thinking mind
and allow sensation to guide the process.

Things surface that you didn’t know you were holding.
Patterns become visible.
Support is reclaimed.
Boundaries are strengthened.
Release becomes possible.

Through breath, the body softens.
Through tears, it expands.
Through colour, it reorganises.

This isn’t surface-level art therapy.
It’s somatic excavation.
It’s ancestral clearing.
It’s nervous system recalibration.
It’s coming home to yourself.

Your body is not the problem.
It is the map.

If you’re ready to listen — Atlas is open.

🌿 KOLO – Creating a Place of Belonging

At our last KOLO gathering in Melbourne, we explored a simple but powerful question:

What creates a place where I can exist safely?

Four years after millions of Ukrainians were scattered across the world, belonging is no longer just about geography. It is about nervous systems. It is about finding ground inside uncertainty.

We began with breath and rhythmic attunement — allowing the body to settle before words. Each woman chose a natural element that felt right in the moment — by smell, by texture, by resonance.

And then they built.

One created a strong nest that held everything inside.
One built solid earth — a foundation to stand on.
One shaped a landscape with a path forward.
One formed a wreath with an open centre — not empty, but held.

No one was asked to tell their story.
No one was pushed to explain.

Through colour, structure, and symbol, each woman created a space of belonging — a place that supports, protects, and allows growth.

This is the quiet work of resilience.
Regulation before narration.
Safety before meaning.
Creation before explanation.

KOLO continues every second week — a circle for Ukrainian women in Melbourne to pause, create, and rebuild belonging gently, together. 🤍

We are approaching a New Moon — and this one carries a strong reset energy.

You may already feel it.

A shift in rhythm. Restlessness. Emotional intensity. A sense that something is closing and something new wants to begin.

New Moons are always about initiation — but this one asks for something deeper: clarity.

Not “what do I want to manifest?”
But:
What am I giving energy to without awareness?
What feels sustainable — and what doesn’t anymore?

In Active Kreative terms, this is an Initiation point — a moment to pause, regulate, and consciously choose before moving forward. As we know from transpersonal work, transitions are not problems — they are thresholds of growth and re-orientation

I’ve recorded a short video explaining the energy of this New Moon and how to move through it without overwhelm.

🇺🇦 Our First KOLO Art Therapy Session – Melbourne

Yesterday we gathered for our first KOLO circle for Ukrainian refugees in Melbourne.

When people enter this space, they do not arrive calm.
They arrive carrying four years of war, displacement, immigration, uncertainty.
Many are living in survival mode — even if life looks “stable” on the outside.

So we did not begin with stories.

We began with regulation.

Through simple bilateral drawing, breathing, colour, and a clear frame on the page, we created something essential: containment. A border that could hold what feels uncontained inside.

What emerged was powerful.

Strong frames.
Repetition.
Fields of yellow and green.
Soft but protective edges.

The nervous system was asking for safety — and colour became the holder.

Art therapy is not about creating beautiful images.
It is about creating a space where the body can slowly exhale.

I am deeply grateful to everyone who came, who trusted the circle, who showed up exactly as they are.

KOLO has begun. 🤍
And we move gently, together.
