A positive step forward for men’s health and fertility care 🤍
Australia has introduced its first nationally developed clinical guidelines for the management of male infertility — a long-overdue and welcome change.
Male infertility contributes to around 50% of couples experiencing difficulty conceiving, yet testing has traditionally focused on women. These new guidelines aim to rebalance that approach, with s***m and hormone testing now included earlier in the fertility journey, alongside access to counselling and holistic support.
This shift recognises male fertility as a vital part of overall reproductive health — and represents a meaningful step forward for individuals and couples navigating infertility.
