Group61 Two hours a week is all it takes to enhance the life of a person living with mental illness. WMQ ca Who is G61?

We link volunteer friends to people that are isolated within their communities and living with mental illness. Our volunteers provide friendship and support to our friends as they seek to re-establish or build new relationships and community connections. Purpose:
• To end the social isolation of our Friends

Aims:
• Enhance the quality of life of our Friends through friendship
• Support our friends to build and strengthen their life skills and self confidence
• Support our friends to build and strengthen their social community connections
• Raise awareness of mental health within wider community
