Once again the annual boomerang/thong throwing competition was a big hit. There was a change where competitots were encouraged to try and hit the kangaroo for extra points as wrll as aoming for the hula hoop.

There was some great competition and lots of laughs.

The new dice game has been a big hit and as we have two of them we can play with 8 residents i.e two groups of 4.

Josephine has become one of the leaders for running a group and it has become a popular game. Especially when playing outdoors.

Rummy-o is also getting a comeback and a group of residents is keen to learn. We will therefore run some training sessions during the month of February.

Both games are great to encourage residents to develop friendships as well as keeping their brains active.
