Lets dive away where creativity guides you, in a group setting with mindfulness and slow drawing tools. For aged care clients, staff members, children, teen and adults who feel visual art is a great way to relax and have fun with good company. Geraldine creates this unique non-judgmental space where you feel you are welcomed to be yourself. Geraldine has always placed a high value on the arts. It frequently transports us to this unique space between dream and reality where anything is possible and where you can feel your energy rising. Geraldine experiments with many visual art mediums. She creates in two different ways; one is figurative, and the other is a "brain dump" that takes on many shapes and tells stories to which I can occasionally add words, it could be art therapy, doodles or Neurotrophica, slow drawing inspired. Geraldine is an artist with experience in a range of artistic fields, including puppetry and theatre decoration. She also has worked as a visual art group facilitator, an early childhood educator, and a social and welfare worker. The creation of Art at a Glance is a logical extension of what she has learned, as she wish to share the joy that creating brings and how it enhances wellbeing. Mindfulness entered Geraldine's life at the ideal time while she was searching for something other than the life we think we are supposed to be living. Thanks to mindfulness, Geraldine was able to connect with her five senses, breath, thoughts and feelings. For the broader public, she is currently fusing mindfulness with visual art. The sessions offered, centered on our relationships with one another and with ourselves.
