✨🐶🚂💬Calling All Occupational Therapists: Full Steam Ahead to Holistic Care!

Do you love your work but are looking to level up? Have you ever considered working alongside therapy animals but aren’t sure where to start? This is your opportunity to join our pack of professionals and therapy animals!

At The Speech Express we are offering the chance to be part of something truly special. Forget traditional, white-coat therapy and enjoy the freedom and pure fun of integrating animals into therapy. Located in Chirnside Park, Victoria, we are the first paediatric speech pathology and occupational therapy clinic that incorporates animal-assisted interventions into therapy. We’re currently a team of 13 fabulous Speech Pathologists, 2 outstanding Occupational Therapists, 5 groovy Therapy Assistants, 3 awesome admin heroes, and perhaps most impawtantly—8 therapy dogs, 4 guinea pigs, 2 fish and 1 bearded dragon!

Please note, The Speech Express will be CLOSED on Monday the 26th January for the Australia Day Public Holiday so our team (and all of our furry friends 🐾) will be out of office for the day!

🐉These are come and try sessions of a for social skills group based on Dungeons and Dragons that will be running in Term 1 2026.Using the DOTS game system, we’ll be working on turn taking, collaborative play, story telling and just a little bit of maths while hunting demons!🐉

Set in the K-Pop Demon hunters world, you can create your own idol who is trying to play their big hit, but demons keep attacking them! Will you help them save the world and put on a great show! 🐾✨

In each session we will create your own character, battle a monster (or more!) and reflect on our teamwork & strengths.

These sessions will give you taste of a 10 week program running during term time, if you're interested and your child likes the taster they can enrol in our term program.

Spots will be limited to 3 people per session! 💛

Who is this group for? 🧐

This program is tailored for children that are in middle to upper primary school or early high school and needing support with social communication. If unsure don't hesitate to ask us! 💬🐶🐾
