✨ It’s time for our junior heroes to save the day! ✨

💛 🐶 With therapy dogs, guinea pigs and horses by their side, children will create their superhero identities, complete missions and take part in real-life hero training – including cape-making, an energy-boosting ⚡snack station, and a superhero obstacle course! 🐶 💛

📆 Dates: Wednesday 1st, Thursday 2nd, & Friday 3rd of October 2025
⏰Time: 10:00AM - 11:30AM (90 minutes each day)
📍Location: Parkview Equestrian Centre, Wonga Park

Look whose little paws you might spot around the clinic… 👀🐾Meet Scout — Carmen’s new therapy pup in training. She’s still finding her way — a little unsure, a little wobbly — but already showing us the magic that happens when we slow down and connect with our four legged friends.Scout won’t just grow into her role — she’ll walk alongside our clients as they work toward their own goals. Whether it’s helping kids regulate their bodies, feel safe to speak, or build confidence through connection, Scout will be part of the journey. She reminds us all that therapy isn’t about getting it perfect — it’s about showing up, having a go, and being supported by the pawesome team along the way 💛We can’t wait to see the impact she’ll make 🐶.

We’re so excited to welcome Hannah, our newest Speech Pathologist, to the team. 🥰 With years of experience supporting children to find their voices, she brings warmth, creativity, and expertise to every session.

🐉💚 And guess what? Hannah works alongside her therapy bearded dragon, Jack! Jack loves helping kids feel calm and confident while they learn.

Carmen is a speech pathologist at the Speech Express. She graduated from La Trobe University with a Master of Speech Pathology. 🗣🎓

🔬⚗Carmen has a background in science and is passionate about evidence based practice and providing a supportive environment to people and their families. ⚛She has experience working with people across the lifespan and enjoys helping them to achieve their goals.👩‍🔬🌺

In Carmen’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, gardening, reading, playing games, spending time in nature with her two lovely dogs and cats.🌸✨

🚨🐾 Paws & Pajamas: Vet Heroes in Training! 🩺🦴
This July school holidays, join us for a 3-day rescue adventure with therapy dogs, horses, and guinea pigs! 🐴🐶🐹

👩‍⚕️ Kids become Vet Heroes—suited up in pajamas, decoding animal emergencies, setting up cozy camps, and learning real-life animal care skills in a magical world of pretend play, teamwork, and social exploration.

✨ When: July 9th, 10th & 11th
🕙 Time: 10:00–11:30 AM
📍 Where: Parkview Equestrian Centre

Join us for a neuroaffirming, animal-assisted, social skills group designed for children of all abilities. Our "Around the World" themed program, inspired by the recent Paris Olympics, features our amazing furry friends, including Lincoln the therapy dog, horses Phoenix, Layla, and Archie, and guinea pig herd, Boo, Muffin, Giggles and recent baby piggie Popcorn. Together, we'll explore international foods, cultures, and games in a fun and engaging environment.

This unique program will be facilitated by Lauren from Ray of Sunshine Learning, a qualified Kindergarten and Primary School Teacher with Equine Facilitated Learning qualifications, and Genevieve Ward, a Speech Pathologist and Animal Assisted Therapist.

🐾 Calling all animal-loving children eager to explore the world and make new friends! 🐾
Children will have the opportunity to engage with like-minded peers while interacting with therapy animals. This is not your typical social skills group—our approach is innovative and child-led, with a focus on international exploration.

🧒 Age: Primary school-aged (email us if you're unsure about your child’s suitability)

✨ Your child will have the unique opportunity to learn about:
• Understanding body language (human, canine, equine)
• Emotional regulation
• Mindfulness
• Friendship
• Communication skills with peers
• Animal safety and well-being
