⨠Emma Smiled This Week. And Listened to Music for the First Time in a Long Time. āØ
When we began NTT (nervous system & trauma healing), Emma was anxious, overwhelmed, and emotionally shut down.
She had reached a point in therapy where nothing was shifting.
The anxiety wasnāt lifting.
The spark wasnāt returning.
She told me she felt like she was just talking in circles, stuck, numb, and exhausted.
She whispered:
š¬ āI donāt remember the last time I really smiled. Or listened to music. Itās like Iāve been numb.ā
But by session three, something shifted.
She began looking in the mirror⦠speaking to herself with the kind of love she always needed to hear.
She started talking to Little Emma, softly, gently, like someone finally coming home to the part of her that had been waiting to feel safe.
And thenā¦
šø She smiled.
š¶ She played music again.
š«¶ Her tone softened.
š Her heart began to calm.
āIt just relaxes me,ā she told me.
āItās like Iām finally being kind to myself.ā
And then came the words that gave me goosebumps:
⨠āIām taking my power back.ā
⨠āI choose me.ā
This is what healing looks like.
The shifts may seem small on the outside,
but they are everything on the inside.
š Have you ever felt like you were talking in circles but nothing really shifted?
Infinite Love š Isabelle
