Hello Home Doctor Service 134100 to arrange an after hours visit. Billing Policy effective 22nd August 2022:
We are a mixed billing practice. Pensioners, health care card holders, DVA cardholders & children 12yrs and under are bulk-billed during standard business hours (9am-5pm) Monday to Friday. A private standard consultation fee is $84 & attracts a Medicare rebate of $39.75. Private consultation fees apply to appointments booked outside of these times, and for all Saturday appointments. Longer appointments and procedures do have additional charges. Our reception staff are happy to assist you with any information you require about fees. We are happy to provide a written estimate of cost for skin procedures. All skin checks will incur an Out of Pocket fee. Reception will advise upon booking of the fees applicable. We accept cash, EFTPOS and credit cards. We can issue your Medicare Rebate instantly through Tyro, onto a Debit card, or we can send your Medicare claim off manually for Medicare to deposit back into your bank account (if your bank details are registered with Medicare). Age, Disability Pensioners & all current health care card holders will be bulk billed
Children 12yrs and under will be bulk-billed. DVA Gold and White Card holders, will be bulk billed through DVA for all visits relating to DVA eligible conditions. To be eligible for bulk billing a valid Medicare card/ concession card/ DVA card must be presented. Script Requests: If you are unable to attend a face-to-face consultation with your Doctor, we are able to book a ‘Script only telephone consult’ which we can usually accommodate the same day, for you to obtain your required prescriptions. SMS reminders for your appointments are sent out the day before to help busy people. Repeat scripts without an appointment may be available in tricky circumstances. 24 hours notice is desirable & the provision of the script will depend on what it is for & whether you have been seen with in the last 3 months. A $15 admin fee applies.
