In case you didn't catch our most recent myth buster... this one's for you office workers! 💻

While regular exercise is incredibly beneficial, it unfortunately doesn’t cancel out the negative effects of prolonged sitting. Even if you’re active, sitting for extended periods can still harm your posture and metabolism. 🚶

Here's our tips
💡 Go for a walk on breaks (even if it's only for 5 minutes!)
💡 Use a standing desk
💡 Get up once an hour and stretch your legs, even if you can't go for a walk, moving around for a couple minutes still helps.

If you exercise regularly, you can sit for hours without any issues. MYTH 🚫

FACT: While regular exercise is incredibly beneficial, it doesn’t cancel out the negative effects of prolonged sitting. Even if you’re active, sitting for extended periods can still harm your posture and metabolism.

Studies show that sitting for long periods is linked to higher risks of heart disease, regardless of your exercise habits. So, make sure to balance sitting with standing and moving throughout the day, even if you work out regularly. 🚶🚶
