In my naturopathic clinic I see PMDD a lot. It's often worse after you have kids too! It is always best to go and find out what your hormones are doing and also how busy your days are compared to before, the stress is a lot. I've had really good success with supporting women with PMDD.
Really it's about how your brain responds to normal hormonal changes, especially after ovulation. That drop in estrogen and the rise and fall of progesterone can trigger a cascade of mood symptoms which can be supported naturally.
Annnd you don't know if you have PMDD but you just don't feel like you some of the cycle, common symptoms are:
Intense mood swings
Irritability
Anger
Feelings of hopelessness
Emotional outbursts
Confusion
Brain fog
Forgetfulness
Social withdrawal
It usually happens in the second half of your cycle and is 10x worse than PMS 😭 if you'd like to feel better, shoot me a message I can book you in for a zoom consult 💻
