If you’ve been feeling the quiet nudge to go deeper with your practice, to understand yoga beyond the poses, and to share its benefits with others, this is your moment. Tamara Yoga Teacher Training begins next week, and there’s still time to join us.

This course isn’t just about learning how to teach a class. It’s about immersing yourself in a supportive community, exploring timeless yogic wisdom, and experiencing the kind of transformation that ripples into every part of your life, your relationships, your work, your nervous system, your sense of purpose.

Rather than tell you how powerful this journey is, I’d love to share the words of one of our graduates, whose experience captures the heart of what our program is about.

10/03/2026

The world feels anxious, disconnected and overwhelmed. The to‑do lists get longer, the nervous system never really rests, and ‘self‑care’ often means scrolling on a phone, still not feeling nourished.

Wellness is growing because people are realising they need more than coping strategies. They need a way back to centre. Yoga offers that path. It’s not apps or trends that change lives. It’s humans. It’s teachers. The world doesn’t just need more yoga, it needs more teachers who share it with wisdom, integrity and love.

That’s why our Yoga Teacher Training exists.

At Tamara Yoga, Teacher Training is not a quick certification. It’s a real, in-person, deeply held program rooted in a living lineage. That matters, because when yoga is passed from heart to heart, not stitched together from weekend workshops, you feel safer, more grounded.

Over two years you move at a human pace: Wednesday afternoon lectures, Saturday workshops aligned with school terms. You don’t cram; you absorb.

You live what you’re learning while still honouring your work, family and life. You don’t just ‘get certified’, you become a steady, grounded teacher people can rely on.

The 350‑hour program is accredited with Yoga Australia and recognised internationally with Yoga Alliance, so you can register and teach with confidence anywhere in the world.

What truly changes you is what you learn, and how deeply you live it.

You learn philosophy and ethics as something you can take into actual conversations, real conflict, life choices.

You learn the craft of teaching, clear, concrete cueing that helps students feel seen and safe, intelligent sequencing for real bodies.

You learn to personalise for every student, for pregnancy, kids and teens, injuries, different abilities, so you become the teacher people trust to include them, exactly as they are.

You study anatomy and physiology, yoga therapy principles, restorative, yin. You experience pranayama, meditation, mantra, mudra, bandha, drishti as the living heart of yoga, not ‘extras.’

You observe and assist classes, practice teaching and receive gentle, constructive feedback. You’re mentored the whole way, because growing as a teacher is inseparable from growing as a human being.

All the while, you’re attending regular Tamara Yoga classes. Your practice deepens. Your presence shifts and people around you notice.

Some trainees come to teach and leave ready to lead with confidence. Others come to deepen, to feel more content, clear & connected. Over and over, they describe the training as ‘life‑changing,’ ‘a gift to myself,’ ‘a way back home to my authentic self.’

You’re held in community. You’re not chasing perfection; you’re growing together. Lifelong friendships form because you share something real.

Places are intentionally limited so you’re not lost in a crowd.

If something in you quietly says yes to teaching, to deepening, or simply to feeling more like yourself again, now’s the time. Enrolments are closing.
