Restorative Soundbath at our Bibra Lake studio | Saturday 16 May | 5:00pm https://tamarayoga.com/workshops/

In a world that rarely gets quiet, yoga soundbath gives your whole system permission to exhale.

Gentle movement and restorative shapes invite your body to soften, while waves of sound from crystal bowls, chimes, gongs and other instruments help calm your nervous system, quiet mental noise, and melt stored tension.

For two glorious hours Danielle will guide you through a gentle yin and restorative practice while immersing in the gentle vibrations of crystal and singing bowls. Relaxing into pure sound brings a feeling of safety and profound relaxation, activating our innate self-healing process and freeing up creative energy.

Many people describe feeling lighter, clearer, and more grounded, like they’ve taken a deep, cleansing breath from the inside out.

“I had such a wonderful practice with my eldest child - this instructor has what we call in Noongar “kwop wiern” a beautiful spirit and healing energy. Thank you x”
-Ingrid

“Great empathic teacher with expert understanding of the restorative process. Highly recommend Danielle.”
- Kylie

”Loved this so much! I didn't want it to end. Felt amazing afterwards.”
– Joan

Tamara Yoga Trauma Informed Course starts this Saturday 2 May | 11:00am | Bibra Lake

When you’ve been through a lot, talking isn’t always enough, especially when stress or trauma is living in your body. Traditional therapy works top‑down, through thoughts and words. Trauma Informed Yoga adds a gentle bottom‑up approach: starting with the body, breath and nervous system so you feel safer and more grounded.

Research increasingly supports this. Studies show trauma‑sensitive yoga can reduce PTSD symptoms and anxiety, improve sleep and mood, increase body awareness and sense of safety in the present moment.

Clinical trials have found trauma‑sensitive yoga significantly reduces PTSD symptoms compared with standard care alone.

In this course, at your own pace you’ll:
o Gently notice and work with sensations, without becoming overwhelmed
o Use movement, breath and rest to support healing from anxiety, stress and trauma
o Learn simple practices to calm and regulate your nervous system

No yoga experience is needed. You won’t be asked to share your story. Join Tamara Yoga Teacher and Clinical Psychologist Chloe Thornton‑Hick at our Bibra Lake studio for our supportive Trauma Informed Yoga course designed to support your mental health.
