Merry Christmas from The Foot Studio Family to yours 🔔🎄🎅

We enjoyed our fun filled annual Rottnest boat Christmas party recently filled with great food, incredible people and stunning scenery. Making time to connect and enjoy each other’s company during the busy festive time.

Thank you to everyone for supporting our small family Podiatry business 🙏🏻 it means so much to Courtney and I and we are so grateful. It really is a privilege to lead this company and team.

A huge congratulations and shout out to , who recently shared these incredible photos from his first 100km at the Brandberg Backyard Ultra in Namibia

He described the course as wild - steep climbs, calcrete 4WD tracks, sandy dry riverbeds and 35-degree heat. The kind of terrain that demands planning, resilience and thoughtful preparation.

What really stood out was the intention behind his foot care. Fraser planned ahead, understood his load patterns, and even paused mid-race to reapply his chosen foot product as part of his strategy. Always follow label directions and use where appropriate.
More and more athletes are recognising the role podiatry plays in performance, comfort and long-term load management. The podiatry movement is here, it’s growing, and people are paying attention to their feet in a whole new way.

Connecting with UWA to Support the Next Generation of Podiatrists

It was so lovely to connect with Kim Holmes from universitywa recently.

We absolutely love hosting and teaching students here at The Foot Studio, and it was great to explore how we can continue strengthening student placements moving forward.

We also spoke about:
🌿 Rural and remote healthcare and ways to help close the access gap for regional communities.
🌿 Leadership in podiatry, especially supporting and elevating women within our profession whilst also juggling caring roles 🌻

Conversations like this remind us how much opportunity there is to shape the future of podiatry together.

If any universities are planning placements for 2026, please reach out so we can plan ahead. We love welcoming students into our clinic.

We know it’s early… but we couldn’t resist putting up the Christmas tree 🎄🎅

Today our team came together to decorate the clinic during our daily huddle. And yes… we may be just a tiny bit excited to be doing it already.

Moments like this remind us why we do what we do. We’re a team that genuinely cares for each other, and for every person who trusts us with their foot health.

The end of the year is a busy time for many people. There’s more standing, more walking, and often a little less time spent looking after ourselves. Small changes in comfort, balance or skin and nail health can make a big difference to how confidently you move through the season.

Podiatrists assess how your feet are coping with increased activity and may help identify issues early. This can support comfort, mobility and help you keep doing the things you need and want to do over the holidays.

Better Together From the Ground Up 🌿

Today we’re celebrating not just Courtney’s birthday 🎈 but the incredible person who is the backbone of The Foot Studio. Courtney is a quiet force behind the scenes who keeps everything running and helps us bring our big ideas to life. He’s thoughtful, very caring, always has our patients best interests at heart and supports all of the incredible team with our big crazy ideas on changing the world through Podiatry 🤩

We’re working on some exciting projects that will make a real impact in our community, and we’re so grateful to our team and patients who make it all possible.

Here’s to another year of growth, gratitude and helping people live healthier, happier lives from the ground up 💪
