Let's talk patterns. Have you ever noticed that a theme in your life keeps repeating it's self and you keep asking yourself why does this keep happening. Well there is a reason and it stems back to our childhood.
Between the ages of 0-7 the brain is forming neural pathways or in psychology terms schemas. These schemas shape our lives they helps us to understand how things happen because in the first 7 years of life we are a blank slate. A simple example is going to a restaurant. We create a schema of going in a waitress seats us, we order, we receive our food and then we pay. This creates a base line so that if anything extraordinary happens it stands out.
We also do this with other things like how people treat us, or what we are taught to believe about ourselves creating a reoccurring pattern. Our energy puts out to the universe this is what I expect even though we don't want it happen, the brain has already created a schema that it will repeat.
The first step in healing this pattern is recognising the pattern. Once we are able to recognise it we can do something whether we fix it our selves which is had as the brain will fight you (EGO). Usually a healer is best as they can get to the root.
Even though we are able to recognise a pattern there are so many other patterns that we may struggle to recognise. Our lives are made up of millions of patterns that control our lives just like driving a car once was difficult became a habit.
Over the next week I give you a challenge. Be more conscious of your thinking, pick out the stories you've been telling yourself and trace them back. Ask yourself where does that come from and do I still need it.
This is the first step in healing and changing the outcome.
