Seeking: Crane and Transport Supervisor
Job Locations: Bowen Basin, Galilee Basin and Surat Basin.
Role: Full Time
Report to: Operations Manager
Roster: To be discussed during the interview
Experience in Mining, Resources and Energy - Engineering and Maintenance.

Salary: The remuneration for this role will be negotiated with the successful candidate and will include competitive market salary.135K to 155K Ute, phone laptop, accommodation .

To be successful, the following qualifications would be an advantage:
• Able to pass drug and alcohol test.
• Need to be able to think on your feet and trouble shoot any issues that can arise from time to time
• Be able to build repour with clients and planners on site to increase utilisation of equipment and personnel
• Manage the daily logistical movement of cranes, transport and personnel
• Book in site inspections
• Book associated services as required
• Receive, schedule and expediate crane bookings with Allocator and Operations Manager
• Prepare all documentation in a timely manner - JSA's, Lift Plans, SWMS, Permits and job estimates
• Review completed job dockets and timesheets for accuracy
• Respond to customer enquiries, email, phone calls etc.
• Allocate crane and personnel when required
• Ensure the company resources are utilised in an efficient and effective manner
• Ensure safety and quality standards are maintained to the highest level
• Complete and record safety interactions
• After hours work may be required
• Ability to pass police check.
• Flexible attitude to work with our clients to help other crews onsite with tasks that are beyond crane operations, rigging and truck driving duties.
• Ability to complete a Complex Lift Plan long hand
• Strong crane management experience
• Flexible attitude to work with all crane operators and riggers required at times to assist with other duties such as crane operating, rigging, driving trucks, or helping other contractor groups with tasks outside of crane / rigger supervision.
Preferred Experience and Skills
• Problem solver
• Familiar with the crane and transport industry
• At least 5 years’ experience in mobile crane hire business
• Knowledgeable of the requirements for NHVL and Fatigue Management Laws
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to deal with competing priorities and tight deadlines
• Ability to multi-task
• Able to always maintain open and clear communication
• High attention to detail
• Work within a fast-paced team environment
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Must be a team player - building rapport within the company
