I offer 1:1 consultations (physio, health coaching, or mentoring) from my private clinic on the Northside of Brisbane, and group strength and conditioning classes at Perform 360, Enoggera. My passion is supporting people who are moving navigating challenging life experiences or transitions, overcoming illness/disease/injury, or simply feel stuck in their life and know there is more! My personal yoga and meditation journey began after I was suddenly widowed by su***de, and left to raise my 2 babies who were only 2 and 4 years old at the time. By healing my own trauma, I now offer knowledge, wisdom and compassion to support others on their own healing journey. At Unlock Potential, Libby and I offer online programs designed to support people to live their most vibrant, purposeful and abundant lives. Our online platform also offers on demand yoga, meditations and workouts. We also offer live corporate wellness workshops, yoga retreats and events. We have a very quirky, high energy and comical approach to life, and are following our dharma of bringing joy to the world to alleviate suffering. So many women in my clinic tell me the same thing:

“I feel guilty when I rest.”
“I’m so busy I don’t have time to rest”
“I feel lazy if I slow down.”

Their self-worth has quietly become tied to productivity.

Not because something is wrong with them
but because they’ve been conditioned that way.

From a young age, women are taught to be useful, accommodating, efficient, and available.

Rest becomes something you’re allowed after everything is done.

Except that ‘everything’ is never done!

So when the body asks for pause, the mind responds with guilt.

But guilt is not a moral signal.
It’s a nervous system response shaped by years of pressure, expectation, and survival.

When your body slows, it isn’t failing.
It’s communicating.

Often what it’s saying is:
“I need safety.”
“I need space.”
“I need to recover.”

The belief that worth equals output keeps women locked in cycles of overtraining, burnout, hormonal dysregulation, chronic pain, and emotional exhaustion.

In my clinic, healing often begins not with doing more but with unlearning.

Unlearning the idea that rest must be earned.
Unlearning the belief that slowing down means falling behind.
Unlearning the story that your value comes from how much you produce.

Rest is not indulgent.
It is intelligent.
It is necessary.
It is deeply reparative.

When you allow yourself to rest, you return home to yourself.

You soften out of survival mode.
You remember the ageless goddess that lives beneath the rush. The wild woman that desires more play, pleasure and freedom.

Motherhood is an incredible rite of passage for women. It comes with a multitude of mixed feelings and emotions, from euphoria and warm, unconditional motherly love, to uncertainty and almost torturous tiredness. This is all normal!! Let’s face it, motherhood is wonderful, but it’s a tough gig, and none of us really know what we are doing!!! I strongly believe that we as mothers, need to take care of ourselves first, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. If we want balance in our lives, and are practicing healthy living through regular exercise and healthy eating, we are better able to meet the ever-changing demands of motherhood, lead our families and be a positive role model for our children. We may slip, an even fall (I certainly do!!) but if we have these healthy practices to return to, we can embrace motherhood with positive energy. That is why I have designed 8 week health and wellness challenges for Mums and 12 week online exercise and nutrition programs for pregnancy and motherhood. You don’t have to do this alone!! It takes a village to raise a family, and we are here to support and guide you with our professional knowledge, practical skills and personal experience.
