This is no prank. The people in this story had serious injury to their skin, eyes and breathing. I also have a client impacted by a ‘prank’ spraying ‘Satan’s Spit’ chilli oil.
They were unable to speak for a week, short of breath & severe strain for another few weeks. A gradual return to work plan now is in place following several weeks of therapy to rebuild regular breathing & voice patterns.

Bayside Voice Centre provides quality, local education and therapeutic services for community members and organisations in the Bayside and East-Brisbane region.

Jenny Matthews is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist with 17 years of experience in clinical, managerial and supervisory roles in the education sector.

Jenny has always been passionate about voice and has undertaken voice-specific training over the past 7 years including Voicecraft, Accent Method and Resonant Voice Therapy. Her passion for voice comes from an acting background in speech and drama before she graduated as a Speech Pathologist and an ongoing love of music and theatre.

Preventative and targeted training is an important part of voice management. At Bayside Voice Centre we present engaging, informative and practical sessions to optimise your voice quality that enables continued engagement within your community and employment.
