Research in acupuncture is increasing every year and creating more and more understanding of how acupuncture can assist with treatment of diseases.

The research below from science direct states that after 862 systematic reviews/metanalyses were reviewed it was found that evidence shows a positive effect for ten medical conditions, another 82 showed evidence of potential positive effects and there was 86 medical indications that had insufficient evidence with no evidence for 6 conditions. Although higher-quality trials are required to further support this.

The ten positive effects were shown for:
- Chronic pain
- Low-back pain
- Knee Osteoarthritis
- Postoperative nausea and vomiting
- Migraine
- Tension-Type Headaches
- Cancer-related fatigue
- Menopausal symptoms
- Female infertility (additional to medical reproductive treatment)
- Chronic prostatitis/Chronic pelvic pain syndrome in Men

So unfortunately I have had to temporarily relocate due to the damage in the clinic.

Good news is that I am only moving upstairs to Shop 6. I am in the process of getting new health fund numbers for this location but unfortunately this will take time and you will need to follow up with your health fund at a later date about claiming appointments from this location.

Second day back in the clinic and there has been a water issue in the clinic and I am in the process of working out what this means for appointments this week.

I will be in contact as soon as possible to advise everyone of the outcome when I have further information from the plumber and the real estate.

It is nearly that time of year again!!!!

I will be working up until the 23rd of December and then from the 29th to the 2nd but will be taking most of January off.

I am away from the office this week and will return on the 7th of October.

Getting lots of Vit D and enjoying the fresh sea air and resting.

Welcome back to Kathleen who will be with me in the Clinic until mid October to complete her last practical clinic hours for her degree.
