👉For Granite Belt seniors, travelling to Brisbane just got easier! 🤩STAR Community Services is partnering with Crisps Coaches to provide easy, reliable, and affordable trips to STAR clients from Stanthorpe to Brisbane!
👉STAR clients pay a subsidised rate of 50% of the full fare cost!
If you have appointments or errands in Brisbane, call STAR’s Transport Project Officer in Stanthorpe, Michael Dubois on 0478 001 544.

🌟 Happy International Volunteer Day! 🌟

Volunteering is the heart of our communities. Today is a powerful reminder that every act of kindness, however big or small, truly matters. Each contribution is made with the intent to support someone or something in need, and that’s what makes it so special.

At STAR, we are incredibly grateful and proud of the strong spirit of volunteering that has been thriving in our organisation since 1996. Today, we celebrated with a BBQ breakfast- a simple token of thanks for our wonderful volunteers who lend a hand to those who are often forgotten. 🌭

To all volunteers: thank you. Your compassion, time, and dedication make the world brighter. You are an inspiration to everyone around you. 🌟❤️

Head down to Grill’d Victoria Point and grab your favourite burger 😋🍔. With every order, you’ll receive a token to vote to support a local cause 🎟️❤️. Just pop yours into the “STAR” jar ⭐️

Your vote helps support the Secret Santa Appeal 🎅🎁 — providing gifts and essentials to the elderly who might otherwise spend the festive season alone 💛🎄.

It’s simple: eat good food, do good things 🙌💚. The community group with the most tokens at the end of December receives a $300 donation 💵, helping us deliver more smiles when they’re needed most 😊✨.

So let’s share the love, one burger (and one token!) at a time ❤️🍔🎄
