Our practice is seeking a skilled and motivated massage therapist to join our busy Cleveland Clinic. For over 40 years our dedicated team has provided clients with the highest standard of commitment, professionalism and quality healthcare. The successful applicant will work in consultation to assist chiropractic and physiotherapy treatments and gain the opportunity to learn new skills in a team-based environment through practical experience. Our clinic provides staff with access to 10-15 patients per day as part of coordinated multi-disciplinary treatments between chiro, physio and massage therapy. The massage component of these consultations is typically 10-15 mins and helps to refine practical skills, establish relationships with clientele, and build clinical knowledge through a variety of healthcare presentations. Additionally, the performance of basic administrative duties as part of their role will enable the therapist to learn the necessary skills to operate in an independent capacity for clients who require extended massage only consultations (30/60/90mins). This independent caseload is flexible and determined by the applicant. This position is ideal for new graduates or students nearing completion of their course, or for those interested in a flexible work schedule.

Flexible Massage Therapist position approx 8 hrs/wk casual employment + option of extended massage caseload of up to 25hrs/week if desired.

Happy New Year to our valued clientele and their families!

As we commence 2022, we’d like to take a brief moment to update you on the current public health directions for healthcare facilities in QLD. The safety of our patients, their families, and staff is our highest priority. As such, we are operating in accordance with mandated COVID-19 guidelines and protocols as follows:

» Our team is required to wear PPE in accordance with guidelines pertaining to the current level of community transmission of COVID-19.
» It is a mandatory requirement for all staff to be double vaccinated.
» Hygiene and disinfection procedures are conducted regularly in common areas and after every consultation using hospital grade cleaning products in treatment rooms.
» There are no restrictions for face-to-face appointments for vaccinated patients. Telehealth consultations are also available by request.
» Check-in upon arrival via the Check-In QLD app is mandatory for all people entering the clinic. If you do not have access to the app, our team is available to assist.
» You are not required to share your vaccination status, however everyone entering the clinic is encouraged to wear a surgical mask or alternatively wait outside until the scheduled appointment.

We would also kindly ask for your assistance in this matter by:

» Rescheduling or opting for a Telehealth consultation if you are not feeling well on the day of your appointment.
» Using the supplied hand sanitizing gel on arrival and when exiting the clinic.
» Practicing social distancing of 1.5m when in shared common areas.
» Prompt arrival at your scheduled appointment time in order to limit crowding.
» Asking our staff for assistance should you wish to review products on display.

Through the implementation of these measures we aim to ensure safe and uninterrupted access to healthcare for our clientele as we endure the next phase of the pandemic. Although it is a challenging time for all concerned, we are committed to supporting the well-being of our local community. We sincerely thank you for your ongoing support.

Our clinic provides staff with access to 10-20 patients per day as part of coordinated multi-disciplinary treatments. The massage component of these consultations is typically 10-15 mins. This provides the opportunity for therapists to showcase their skills and establish relationships to develop an independent, subcontracted client base if desired.

Great News! Remedial Massage Services will resume Friday May 1. Our staff have completed COVID-19 infection control training courses and will wear personal protective equipment (PPE) for massage treatments in accordance with clinical practice guidelines.
