Some of the most meaningful growth in my life has come from stepping outside my usual path. Men’s work was one of those places.
Many men feel uneasy about gathering with men they don’t know. That discomfort is understandable, and at the same time it’s an invitation. An invitation to heal, to reconnect, and to rediscover the strength and honour of being men.
For over ten years, men’s groups have shown me the power of honest conversation, open hearts, and respectful male connection.
We’re opening our Men’s Group for 2026. It’s a small, grounded circle of good men who come together to speak honestly, listen deeply, laugh, and support one another to be at their best.
This is not therapy.
No fixing. No posturing. No pressure.
Just real conversation, open hearts, and strong, respectful male connection.
Last year’s group was truly special — honest sharing, plenty of laughter, and a genuine sense of brotherhood. It feels like the right time to open the circle again.
The group meets in Sassafras, in nature. Places are limited and there is a $100 early bird available for a short time.

Years ago, Stephen Covey shared a simple but powerful lesson.
He filled a glass jar with large rocks.
“Is it full?”
Everyone said yes.
Then he added gravel.
Then sand.
Then finally… water.
The message was clear.
🪨 The big rocks represent what matters most in your life.
If they don’t go in first, there’s no room left for them.
So often we tell ourselves we’ll focus on what matters after work, responsibilities, and the urgent stuff.
But somehow… there’s rarely any time left.
I see this all the time — in relationships, health, rest, creativity, joy.
And if you’re self-employed, you know this one well: if it’s not in the calendar early, it usually doesn’t happen.
Last year, Susan and I finally scheduled a long-dreamed-of family hike at Wilsons Promontory. I’d wanted it for years. The realisation was simple:
✨ What truly matters has to be scheduled first. Everything else fits around it.

Daily: connection, movement, breath, presence
Weekly: family, meaningful work, rest
Annual: holidays, health goals, retreats

Nicholas and Susan de Castella are practitioners and trainers who both have over 20 years experience in Breathwork.
Nicholas de Castella represented Australia in 4 world championships, but his own growth journey began in 1988 when found himself suffering from chronic fatigue. He has been a full time Breathwork practitioner since 1991 and a Breathwork Traininer for eighteen years (since 1997).
Susan de Castella began her journey of personal transformation as a teenager who suffered from anxiety. This lead her onto yoga,esoteric studies, mediation, massage, Reiki and Breathwork. She has over fifteen years experience as a Breathwork Practitioner and Trainer.
They are married with two young boys, live and breathe personal transformation. Their passion is for opening our hearts, connecting and living life to the fullest.
