What can I say I’m just a gal who is pregnant with cravings.?

To be honest I’ve always loved hearing my clients and people over the net talking about their food cravings during pregnancy even when they were super healthy beforehand!

I’ve balanced out my meals as much as I did in first trimesters and I’m way better now but there’s still cravings - which I’ll share part two soon (if you like hearing these let me know!)

Okay, I have been sitting on the biggest news and I am SO ready to share it with you all 🥹✨

I’ve been off social media on my personal page since January. It’s been months and the reason why is because I’m over halfway being pregnant🤰💫

It’s been such a beautiful journey 🌱

I felt drawn to not be online. To be in my own space, build more of an analog life as I connect further to my future bubs. I didn’t realise I would want to be off socials completely. I thought it was just a collective feeling at the start of the year, then it continued and I tell you what, it felt amazing.

I have no regrets, because whilst being offline I’ve been able to nurture the things around me that I most need for this chapter of my life and into the postpartum period. I’ve wanted to nurture my own hobbies outside of work, get my ducks in a row for work, and focus on my connections and support because having my village is so important to me as do I tell all my clients to nurture theirs in this time.

My hubby and I are so excited to venture into this next chapter. I feel so deeply loved, more than I could have ever imagined, knowing that is only going to grow once baby is earthside.

I chose to keep this closely to my heart, knowing that this news may stir up emotions in so many ways especially for my clients. If you’re feeling all the different nuances of this, just know: I see you, I hear you, and you are not alone (truly I do)

Thank you everyone for the support. It is now time to share more to help those around me with the honest truth of being a health practitioner navigating pregnancy in the real world. What it actually looks like, rather than keeping it all easy and glorious just because I’m in the health industry. So this page will be full of pregnancy/ fertility things: personal tips, what has helped me, what I’m working towards, and how I’m navigating life and business in this time 💛

So thank you for being patient, whilst I be more intentional with my energy and output. I am so deeply grateful for those who have held me already 🥹😘

What kind of life is it when you wake up already tense? 😬 I know it’s not what I’ve enjoyed in the past.

Before your feet hit the floor, your mind is racing through the to-do list. What needs doing. What you didn’t finish yesterday. What’s coming next. The day hasn’t even started and your nervous system is already bracing.

That constant edge of stress doesn’t always make you more productive. Often it does the opposite. You either procrastinate because it feels too much, or you push until you’re exhausted. And even when you take time off, even on holidays, you can’t truly switch off. Your body might be resting, but your mind is still working.

And deep down, you know that isn’t healthy. You know it’s not the life you actually dreamed of. Even if, on paper, you are living your “dream life” 🫧

What is a dream life if you can never get off the hamster wheel?

I see this again and again with clients. And I’ve lived it myself. So when I say I get it, I truly do.

But life doesn’t have to feel this way.

You get to wake up feeling focused, not frazzled. You get to feel calm in your body. You get to relax without guilt. You get to switch off without your mind dragging you back to the next thing.

You get to be present.

To be in a sunflower field with disco balls 🪩 & not care what else is on your plate. No overthinking. No overanalysing. Just being there. Laughing. Feeling free. Having fun for the sake of it.

Wouldn’t that be nice? To have more zest in your life? 🍋

And more than that… wouldn’t that be how life is meant to feel?

Environment matters more than we’ve been taught.

And this isn’t just my Libran energy talking, although yes, I do love beautiful things 🫣🪩

I know that when someone’s nervous system is already settled before they speak, before they share, before they receive healing, it can make or break a treatment. It changes how the body responds and how deeply someone can hear and receive a practitioner.

I’ve known it since I was young and I would keep changing my room at home to accommodate my energy and the shift in my identity. I’ve known it since I had treatments from when I was 8 and seeing the response in myself when I walked and sat in a space waiting for my session. It mattered.

That’s why I created Meraki to feel a certain way: warm, safe, soft and enlightening. Yes all from the way I place furnishings to the colours I picked. Like a breath of fresh air your chest hasn’t been able to take for a while.

A space where you can soften as soon as you walk in.
Where you feel safe in the seat you choose in reception.
Where surrender doesn’t need to be explained, it just happens.

All of this is working with your body to heal.
And it plays a powerful role in your energy, your focus, and your determination to keep moving forwards.

A lot can change with your energy and mental body with just how your environment is setup - did you know this? Can you feel it?

I’m the same with my home now - always making sure the space feels a certain way to match my energy and where I want to move towards.

Burning Out Before, During and After Christmas

Every single year I see it.
The burnout.
The exhaustion.
The feeling that your life force is being slowly siphoned off like you’re running on the fumes of last month’s energy.

And honey… this is not something you’re meant to push through.

I know what you’re thinking:
“But Casey, how else am I supposed to do it? I’m obligated to show up to every social thing under the sun. I’m working right up until Christmas. My calendar looks like a Venn diagram of chaos.”

I get it. Truly.
But here’s the one thing I want you to take away today.

What if it wasn’t about racing to the finish line…
but actually enjoying the journey?
Even if you’re tired?

Stay with me.
We create most of our suffering not from the moment we’re in…
but from the mental gymnastics of anticipating the next moment.

You know the saying, “Worrying about something once is enough worrying about it over and over is what ruins you”?

That’s what’s happening right now.

We keep projecting ourselves into a future that hasn’t even existed yet.

This year I’ve become obsessed with them.

To be honest I am a true visionary at heart. So this fell right into my visionary vibes …

The only thing I had to make sure I was doing - is execute.

So as long as you plan, strategise and organise with action you’re good to go! And action is a big part of making the visions come to life. As much as I’d love to wish them into the human reality. The actual reality is doing the things to get to your goals!
