Ever since my drug trip in Thailand, I've had maybe two occasions where my psyche goes off to different realms where I couldn't breathe in my physical body.. which borderlined panic attack. Boredom eating is a thing ๐๐ฏ๐ฅฏ๐ช๐ซ๐
It's also called mindless eating where you just want to snack but you're not actually hungry.
โก๏ธ It's used when "theres nothing else to do". To fill the time. Because being still can be uncomfortable for some people.
โก๏ธ It's used as a distraction instead of feeling challenging emotions.
But have you noticed the emotions return?
Unfortunately using food as a coping tool is often overused. Especially late at night after dinner. Leading to deregulated appetite signals, impaired blood sugar control, overweight or obesity, and ultimately becomes your "Go To" lifestyle choice.
Being present with your food is great way to recover from disordered eating, emotional and stress eating and improves your food relationship.
๐ง The subconscious mind holds your belief systems, memories, experiences, values, and perception of everything; thus influences thoughts, feelings and behaviour.
Using Kinesiology, we can tap into the subconscious mind to clear stress on all levels so you don't have to use food to cope with uncomfortable feelings or stillness.

Liver 3 or LV3 is third on the Liver Meridian line.
Its connected to the Wood Element where the main emotions are Anger and Frustration ๐ฅ๐คฌ
Its located on the top of the feet, from the webbing between the 1st and 2nd toes, slide your finger to the groove point. It may feel sensitive to pressure.
This point restores harmony, courage, clarity and Liver energy. It releases irritability, resentment, jealousy, anger, attitude problems and judgment.
You can hold or rub the point for 30 sec or so, whatever feels good to you.

K1 or Kidney 1 is one of THE most grounding points in the body ๐
It's the first point of the kidney meridian line, and is connected to Water Element where the main emotions are Fear and Anxiety
It's located on the sole of the foot/feet, one third from the top and between the 2nd and 3rd toes.
Stabilises kidney and heart energy and calms the spirit and mind.
I like rubbing or holding this area while stretching out my groin but you can do it whenever it's suitable like before bed ๐โโ๏ธ

When you heal, you are no longer activated by old triggers.
When you heal, your body no longer jumps into 'fight-flight-freeze'. Instead of reacting; you create space to respond.
When you heal, you think-feel-behave differently to the way others are used to.
When you heal, toxic relationships and patterns can't continue because you stopped feeding into the cycle.
When you heal, others notice change within you. You're less / no longer reactive to what their familiar with. In this elevated state of consciousness, others have a chance to reflect on their own behaviour... thus potentially planting the seed to heal from THEIR own wounds.
Heal from painful memories and experiences so you can attract humans on a similar wavelength to you.. because you deserve better ๐

Imbedded belief systems believing you're unworthy or undeserving, creates disharmony and resistance in being kind to yourself.

In respect to anxiety and it's deliberating outcomes, you must address physical, mental and emotional:
โญ๏ธPhysical = switch nervous system from sympathetic (fight-flight-freeze) to parasympathetic (rest & digest). Support adrenal glands in producing cortisol and adrenaline at appropriate times (early morning; exercise).
โญMental = Rewire unhelpful neurological pathways through THOUGHTS.
Can you PAUSE before reacting?
Can you take a step back and breathe before emotions run wild?
Everyday thoughts come and go like non-stop chatter. The mind LOVES to chat, to create stories. Bring yourself to the present moment and see you're not your thoughts. You DON"T have to believe the worst will happen. Keep redirecting and you will change your default pattern.
โญEmotional = Emotions are not good or bad. They provide feedback of your state so you can either run with the emotion (stay angry; stay victim etc) OR use this feedback to bring yourself back to centre - knowing emotions come and go.
๐ฃ Feeling your emotions wasn't something we learnt growing up. We're told to "stop crying", "don't be mad". So we end up with dysregulated emotional energy stored within us, needing to be released (may manifest as anxiety or physical symptoms).
Once you address ALL parts of your wellbeing, letting go expectations whilst learning self-compassion; the anxiety will go ๐

Reiki is an ancient Japanese energy healing practice where the practitioner channels Universal Life Force Energy into the recipient to facilitate self-healing.
Each session is always different, which may include (but not limited to):

Sometimes being "nice" isn't in the highest good for all.
Yes you can choose to walk away and leave connections that aren't good for you, but we can't always do that. So if you brush over toxic behaviour, you end up hurting both of you when you allow it to continue.. in the illusion of you being "nice".
Once you decide HOW important a relationship is to you (eg. your spouse, sibling or parent) and you WANT them in your life but can't stand how they behave; STOP and reflect on why it bothers you first. If it's triggering something within you that you might need to work on.
Then moving on: with emotional maturity, compassion and without judgement; discuss how their behaviour affects you and consequently others around them and themselves.
Coming from a place of LOVE and not Fear/Ego, voicing your truth in the healing intention of strengthening the relationship means you can do no wrong. Whether they accept and change or anything else, is up to them; you've already done your part and should be proud of yourself โฏ๏ธ
