📢 NDIS Update: A New Way of Planning is Coming

The NDIS has announced changes to how plans will be created, with a new planning framework rolling out gradually from mid-2026.

Here’s what you need to know:
✔️ You don’t need to do anything right now
✔️ Your current plan will stay the same until you transition
✔️ The new process will focus more on your individual support needs and goals
✔️ Plans are expected to be simpler, fairer and more flexible
✔️ You’ll receive plenty of information before any changes affect you

A key part of the new process will be a support needs assessment, where you’ll have more time with a trained assessor to talk through the supports that work best for you.

💬 Public consultation is now open, giving participants and families the chance to have their say on how the new planning rules will work.
