Amazing News!
The Federal Minister for Health and Aging, Mark Butler has announced a reinstatement of private health rebates for Naturopathy.

We have not been able to provide rebates since 2019.
This will allow for better regulation within our profession

Australians will be able to access a range of natural therapies under their private health insurance following an independent review of their effectiveness.

Garden harvest and pickle and preserve day today.
Fermented foods assist with gut harmony, reduce inflammation of the gut and systemically as well as enhance nutrient accessibility.
Whilst pickled foods facilitate hydration, balance blood glucose and are rich in antioxidants.
Not to mention they reduce food waste.

It's been a long while since I've posted.

Clearly, it was a very busy 2024 but here is the first post for 2025 and your reminder to get your gut health back in order after the festive season and a great way to do that is preparing some beautiful pickled vegies to have with your summer BBQ and salads.
Here we have radish, buk choy and chinese cabbage.
The preserving brine is made with 1/4 cup water, 1/2 coconut sugar, 11/4 cup of organic apple cider vinegar 1/2 tsp salt fresh tumeric (grated) and ginger (grated).
So simple, combine brining ingredients over heat for 3 minutes, let cool and pour on your vegies.

Let sit for 12 hours and it's ready to eat.
Keep refrigerated and eat over 2-3 weeks

Great for gut health
Great for glucose metabolism
Rich in antioxidants
Rich in fibre, vitamins and minerals
