October is Mental Health Month and at CPSN we take everyone’s mental health seriously.

We are so passionate about making sure everyone is okay - not just on “R U OKAY?” day but all year round.

This month, we held another two day Mental Health First aid training course in Kensington where 16 of our valued Staff, Support Workers and members’ attended.

For the last two years our staff members, Sharon and Anna have been training all our staff, support workers and community members to look out for how to identify the key signs and symptoms of when they might need to ask someone if they are okay and give them a helping hand with their mental health.

If you want to find out more about our next training course, get in touch with us via our link in bio.

Alison, a mother of two children and a woman with a disability, examines the world of books available to her child and tries to figure out why so many brilliant titles are often left languishing out of the spotlight in favour of other titles.

This Children's Book Week we took a detailed look into what inclusive Australian Children's titles are available.

Recently, we invited our amazing clients, support workers and community members who are featured on or worked on the development of our new website to celebrate with us.

It was a great opportunity to give thanks and reflect on the incredible work from so many people who have made this change possible and brought to life how we see CPSN.

When saying what our new look means to her, Kellie O’Shea, our CEO, shared a heartfelt statement about the new website.

“Personally, there were moments that truly moved me…reading the stories shared, watching the videos come together, seeing the heart and soul from so many here today that went into every page. At times I found myself unexpectedly emotional. This isn’t just a new logo or a cleaner [website].. It’s a reflection of who CPSN is today” - Kellie O’Shea, CPSN CEO
Thank you to our clients, support workers and members of the CPSN community who were willing to be photographed, shared their story, or contributed to the website. We wouldn't have been able to launch this without you.

After more than 30 years supporting people with Cerebral Palsy, CPSN is entering a new chapter—one that reflects our growth, values, and commitment to delivering high-quality support. As part of our recent brand uplift, we’ve refreshed our logo to better represent who we are today and what we stand for. This isn’t just a design update—it’s a reflection of our purpose and the people at the heart of everything we do.

Our updated logo is a symbol of what we’re building—a stronger, more connected support network for people with Cerebral Palsy. It reflects not just who we are, but how we work: in partnership, with professionalism and care, and always with the person at the centre.

BYO Support Worker? Absolutely!

As a smaller, niche disability service provider, we’ve got more time to focus on you and your needs.

We can work with you to hire any existing support workers that you already have, or we can do the heavy lifting of finding a support worker for you so you can focus on living your best life, on your terms.

That’s the CPSN Difference.
