Happy Birthday to us!! Northside opened its doors 10 years ago! 🥂The time has flown and we are thrilled to be celebrating 10 years of wonderful people who have sat on both sides of our desks- patients, staff and practitioners. Northside Health is delighted to welcome Lauren Carmichael (she/her), an Accredited Practising Dietitian & Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician, to our team in Coconut Grove, Darwin.

Lauren brings a deeply trauma-informed, affirming and inclusive approach to nutrition care.

Lauren can support you through:

- Eating disorders & disordered eating including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, and ARFID
- Neurodiversity‑affirming nutrition care: Embracing all forms of neurodivergence (not just ADHD and autism) with gentle, tailored strategies that honour each person’s unique needs
- Chronic health conditions such as POTS, PCOS, Ehlers‑Danlos Syndrome, gastrointestinal disorders, and low‑energy availability
- Gender‑affirming nutrition care: Supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals through hormone therapy, transitions, or simply honouring their authentic selves.
