We have all watched MAUI 🏝️BURNING🔥🔥So how do you think anyone will stop a wildfire ignited by a rocket exploding in mid air scattering burning debris into thick inaccessible vegetation here?
Incase you haven't noticed we are running out of water (hence the desal saga) so where are the millions of litres of deluge water that is turned into steam going to come from? And where are the millions of litres needed for a wildfire going to come from?

The rocket launch facility is proposed in a wilderness sanctuary, in an area with heritage listing, home to endangered wildlife, in an extreme bushfire risk area.

Another scrappy start up. There's already been one rocket fire at Whalers Way burning native vegetation yet Southern Launch have been given permission for more launches in an area designated as an extreme fire risk by the CFS.
1. Fire fighting water has to be trucked in.
2. It's a 45 minute trip to get backup fire appliances to Whalers Way.
3. There's only one escape road in and out for residents and tourists.
4. There's already a residual fuel load from the summer rains so imagine the fuel load we will have on lower EP this year.

Judging by the footage of Pythom engineers running away from a dangerous cloud of smoke, their safety protocols leave something to be desired.

Is Southern Launch using part of over $4million government funding (your tax money) to pay for this research to look like they care about the environment?
This is a three year research project but Southern Launch have stated their intent to continue development of the site before the research is complete.
1. That's your tax money wasted
2. The research will be voided as the birds and breeding sites will be disturbed/destroyed before the research could be completed

Who is head of The Boys Club?
If the government can grant a privately owned company $4.2 million dollars to launch pe**le shaped projectiles into space why are the public left to suffer like this?

This was Flinders Medical Centre at 11pm last night just prior to our borders opening.

In two of these ambulances a 95-year-old and 87-year-old patient were forced to ramp for over 5-hours.

Shortly after this picture was taken there were 12 life threatening emergencies left uncovered in the community with no ambulance to send.

Despite Steven Marshall’s $1 million taxpayer funded ad campaign - our health and ambulance system are not coping.

Dr Roger Matthews is an Environmentalist and Oceanographer who studies meteorology. He has the data to show there are only a number of days per year that are safe to launch rockets at Whalers Way.

(Even without the science, you'd think if there's a wind farm next door, it should have been obvious to Southern Launch its a wee bit too windy for all their proposed launches per year 🤔)
