Sometimes you’ve got to trust your gut 👊
I was basically told to stop doing the things I love and wait for things to get worse… that didn’t sit right with me 🤔
So instead of accepting that outcome, I focused on what I could control strength, movement, consistency and a more holistic approach 🏋️♂️ Gym wasn’t the only thing I did, but it was a big one especially considering I barely trained legs before this.
Was it quick or easy? Not even close 😅 Managing expectations was huge. Progress was slow, setbacks happened, and I’ve had to be smart with how I train. But doing something instead of nothing changed everything 📈
Surgery and medication absolutely have their place 💊 but they’re not always the only starting point. There’s often a lot you can do to support your body first if you’re willing to put in the work 💪
Not medical advice just my experience. But don’t underestimate what your body is capable of when you actually give it a chance 🔥
