The thing I love about conscious festivals is the way we are invited to peal back the layers and feel safe and witnessed to take off our protective masks to be able to drop deeper into connection with ourselves, the land and one another.
We get to remember the power of humanity, of unity, of love so we can pave a new way forward for ourselves and our future generations and let go of some of the s**t that society has indoctrinated upon us. We are born innocent and we are all powerful multidimensional beings who are around 86% stardust with a few million atoms of gold inside us, we are floating around in space so ain’t that a bloody miracle in itself, we tend to get caught up in the little things- gathering together we remember the miracle of life and the power of love and this is one of the reasons I have been on the core crew for Lovefest Bellingen for the past three years now and I cannot wait to be on sacred gumbaynggirr land together tribe because frankly I feel there was an element of culture and rites of passage missing when I was growing up and now I realise we manifest our reality.
