Last month, we welcomed a very special new team member to headspace Coffs Harbour, Paddy, our therapy dog in training! 🐶

Madi from our headspace team has kindly offered to continue Paddy's training so he can become our registered therapy dog. Unlike guide dogs or service dogs, you're absolutely welcome to pat Paddy when he has his harness on! 😊

Once Paddy completes his training and receives his registration, we'll be able to book him for client sessions. We're so excited to have Paddy join our team and the positive impact he'll bring to our young people. Welcome, Paddy! 🐕

What an incredible experience! 💚 Britt, Don, and Jess represented headspace Grafton at the headspace Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Staff Network event in Melbourne from November 10th-12th.

Each year, headspace National brings together First Nations staff from across the network for connection, learning, and yarning in a safe, culturally supportive environment. This year's event at Melbourne Zoo included special visits to the headspace National office and meaningful conversations with the Board of Directors and network leadership.

It was a privilege to represent both headspace Grafton and Health Voyage, and to celebrate the strength of our Indigenous team. The warmth and support from the headspace National team were wonderful; they were so glad to connect with us in person! We can't wait for the next gathering!
