"Right Care, First Time, Where You Live" workshop 🌿 We recently participated in the second workshop in a three-part series, thanks to Healthy North Coast and the University of Sydney

The project through the Brain And Mind Centre is identifying system challenges, exploring solutions, and building a digital modelling tool to map the impact of interventions, service growth, social factors, and disasters.

With 1 in 5 young people in our region considered highly vulnerable, the need for action is urgent. 💚

Huge shout out to Nikita, Tom, and Lochlan from the .grafton Youth Reference Group and Britt and Claudia from .grafton too for bringing the voices of the Clarence Valley to help shape the model.

Your input is invaluable!

A few weeks ago, across Coffs Harbour Women's Health Centre headspace Grafton and headspace Coffs Harbour we celebrated Wear it Purple Day 💜

Wearing purple is a way for Australians to show rainbow young people that they are valued, respected, and supported in being proud of who they are and who they are becoming.

This year’s theme, “Bold Voices, Bright Futures,” celebrates LGBTQIA+ people living openly and achieving their dreams in sport, art, science, and beyond.

Looking back on Homelessness Awareness Week 💜 In August, we joined the community in recognising Homelessness Awareness Week, a time to reflect on the challenges many face and the importance of compassion and support.

We’re so grateful to everyone who generously donated to Pete’s Place. Last month, Women’s Health Nurse Berry, Operational Clinic Coordinator Cherie, and Health Promotions Manager Jen had the privilege of presenting these donations to Support Worker G*i from Pete’s Place, in support of the vital work being done for people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness.

Homelessness Awareness Week may have passed, but the need for understanding, advocacy, and community care continues every day.
