Postpartum is a physiological transition — not just a lifestyle adjustment.

We talk about pelvic floor recovery.
We talk about weight loss.
But we don’t talk enough about nutrient restoration.

Iron. Minerals. Protein. Blood sugar stability. Nervous system regulation.

This is what protects long-term hormone health, mood stability, thyroid function, digestion and future pregnancies.

And it’s also why so many women feel “not quite right” months (or years) later.

You don’t need to do more.
You need to be replenished.

If this resonates, tell me — what has felt hardest in your postpartum recovery?

Reya Jones ☀️

Born on the side of the road (Coramba fire station to be precise 😅) at 6.35am in a very quick labour/delivery.

We are all doing well, still in shock from the whole experience, but very happy to have a completely physiological natural birth and she’s already feeding quite well.

Rumii is very excited to have a little sister, in fact the last few days she had demanded the baby had to be a girl 🤣

This is why I’ve been so quiet on here the last few months!

We are very excited and pleased that our little family is growing and Rumii will be a big sister- which she is very excited about.

I haven’t been able to bear social media since the first trimester fun of nausea and extreme fatigue hit me, so I’ve been rather quiet on here but now you know why.

But I’m starting to feel better and my days are a lot better than what they were so there is light at the end of the tunnel thankfully.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, mothers are super heroes. What we go through even from conception is absolutely amazing.

Here’s to the second trimester!
