🩷 Teneille is a Private Practice Endorsed Midwife providing woman-centred Antenatal, Birth and Postnatal care to the Coffs Coast area- Ph:0456 470 460

Teneille has been a Registered Midwife since 2012, a Registered Nurse since 2005 and a University Teacher since 2021. Teneille is an Endorsed Midwife, which means she has additional qualifications and specific expertise which meets the requirements of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) to prescribe medicines as well as order pathology and radiology. Her services also attract a Medicare rebate, meaning women get a refund back from Medicare after paying the scheduled fee. Teneille has been working within Maternity at the local hospital for many years, as well as educating Bachelor of Midwifery students at the local University, and tutoring for a QLD University. She has also acted in various roles within Maternity such as Clinical Midwifery Student facilitator and Clinical Midwifery Educator. Teneille is also a wife as well as a mother of four children, two University aged and two school aged. With limited options on the Coffs Coast for woman-centred continuity of care, Teneille decided to start her own company to strive to provide quality tailor-made continuity of care for women and their families. Teneille will visit you in your home at a time to suit you during the antenatal period, saving you long waits and travel time. Teneille will also visit postnatally as often as required up to 6 weeks post birth, to provide you with ongoing support whilst you establish and settle into caring for and feeding your new baby.

🩷 ITS OFFICIAL! Today is the first offical day that my visiting rights commence at Coffs Hospital. That means that my clients can now be admitted as a private patient for labour and birth completely under MY care! This means I can be your private midwife the ENTIRE way-partnering with you through pregnancy, labour, birth and postnatally = FULL CONTINUITY! 🥳 How amazing is that??!!!

🩷 Midwifery care can begin the moment you find out you’re pregnant! No referral is necessary; simply contact me to begin! I can order all of your blood tests, ultrasounds and even medicines if required. Medicare rebates apply to all visits making it financially accessible for all!

🩷 EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT 📣 👏 to start off the new year!!! And you thought 2025 was big for Coffs coast midwifery!!!

🩷 I’m so excited and proud to FINALLY announce that I have successfully gained visiting rights at Coffs Hospital which means my clients can be admitted as a private patient for labour and birth completely under MY care!
This means I can be your private midwife the ENTIRE way-partnering with you through pregnancy, labour, birth and postnatally = FULL CONTINUITY! 🥳

🩷 If you have private health cover you can use that to fund the birth admission/midwife fee, or you can self fund with Medicare rebates available, making this option super affordable for all!!! How amazing to know your private midwife will be there caring for and supporting you through this amazing time in your life! We spend so much time during the antenatal period preparing women for labour and birth, but also this helps me really know all of your wishes by the time your labour begins. How reassuring for women to know that I’ll know what their preferences are, and they don’t need to relay this information over and over again to unfamiliar care givers!

🩷 This achievement has been in the works for a long time, and I’ve waited ages to officially tell everyone, but it’s a brand NEW model of care for Coffs Hospital and I’m the FIRST one to gain visiting rights and offer this option to my clients. I’ve worked so hard in the business to get to this point, and I’m so, so proud to be expanding my service offerings to women, to make their experience the best it can ever be and to provide exceptional private midwifery care!

🩷 Lots of discharges this week as I say a sad goodbye or “see you next time” to lots of families! Three this week! It’s such a privilege to look after families and see them thriving with their new baby! Yesterday I said goodbye to the MDy family (the family photo was taken a few weeks ago, but the photo of their baby girl was taken yesterday-swipe for all 3 pics). This beautiful girl takes out the award for the most hair- how amazing is it??? 🥰😍

🩷 EXCITING NEWS!!!! (With more to come soon)!!!

🩷 I’m super excited to finally announce some amazing news! Today was my first day working alongside the lovely Dr Pam Cardoza in the Specialist rooms located at Coffs GP super clinic! (And apparently Dr Cardoza also got the memo to wear pink)!!! I now have my own clinic space and it is lovely; as are all the staff located at the clinic! (More photos of the space to come)!

🩷 This is another opportunity to see me for your private midwifery care. Working with Dr Cardoza is an amazing opportunity and enables women who need to see an obstetrician at anytime throughout the pregnancy, to link in with both of us. If you’re seeing Dr Cardoza for private care/high risk obstetric care, you can also see me for the midwifery love, education and birth planning! This is the best of both worlds for women!

🩷 I’ll be here every Wednesday providing continuity, woman centred care thats full of lots of education and informed decision making. I can order all of your blood tests and ultrasounds. Just contact the GP super clinic to book in with me to see me in my rooms. No referral is necessary!

🩷 I am LOVING all the baby cuddles lately! It seems we are having a run of mostly girls! Lots of postnatal care going on at the moment and it’s joyous meeting the new additions and seeing the families thriving!
