Hi ,

I’ve been quietly building something for families who are homeschooling/unschooling or supporting neurodivergent and PDA children.

It’s an app designed to:
• reduce the admin load of homeschooling
• make learning visible without forcing it
• support parents to document learning in ways that align with their values

A small group of families are already using it, and I’m now opening it up more widely.
To support families and a sustainable launch, I’m offering Founding Member pricing to the first 50 families who join. This pricing is locked in for as long as you remain subscribed. There’s no countdown timer, no pressure, and no expectation that this is right for everyone. You’re welcome to look, sit with it, and decide in your own time.

If you’re curious, you can read more here:
https://app.affirmingconnections.com.au/

There’s no pressure to join, no urgency, and no expectation to stay.
It’s simply there as an option, if and when it’s useful.

Please use these links to access the Founding Member Prices:

The PDA Society has just released a powerful new report capturing the lived experiences of nearly 1,000 PDAers and their families.

Four PDAers: Riko, Leila, Hannah and Jennifer, worked alongside the PDA Society to analyse the 2023 survey results and place the data into the rich context of real-life stories. The result is "In Our Words", a report that blends statistics and personal narratives to show what life is truly like for PDAers right now.

This report is an important reminder that understanding PDA means listening to the people who live it.

💛 The authors ask you to make a simple but transformative pledge: Will you treat PDAers as you would a trusted friend?

🤝 Listening
Be open-minded about people’s needs, don’t make assumptions.

🤝 Trusting
If someone tells you they’re struggling, believe them.

🤝 Adapting
Respond to what someone says works for them, and be willing to try new approaches.

🤝 Accommodating
Assume everyone is doing the best they can and offer accommodations wherever possible.

🤝 Respecting
If a PDAer can’t respond in the way you expected, remember they aren’t trying to hurt you, they’re trying to stay safe.

✨ This report is an invitation to deepen our understanding, strengthen our compassion, and support PDAers with dignity and care.

👉 Read the report and take the pledge today.
