Up to 1 in 5 women experience pain during secs, and one of the most common drivers is a pelvic floor that can’t relax.
We’ve been taught to strengthen our pelvic floor… but research shows that tight, overactive muscles are one of the biggest causes of painful secs, reduced pleasure and disconnection.
Hypertonic pelvic floor can be caused by things like endometriosis, childbirth, chronic pain or trauma.
The Pelvic Serpent Wand is designed for trigger point release of overactive pelvic floor muscles.

Here are 5 tips for touching a 😽.

Now, this is going to sound counterintuitive, but resist touching anywhere on the 😽 for as long as possible. (This goes for self-ple🍦sure and partnered play!)

Build up heat and tension by increasing blood flow and bringing awareness back to the body and sensations. Desire and wanting come from anticipation, so start by kissing, rubbing, licking and caressing all over the body. Tease sensitive areas like the neck, belly, inner thigh and breasts.

The most important piece of advice I can give you is listen to the body you’re touching - whether it’s yours or someone else’s. What feels good today might be too much tomorrow. Tune into what is feeling good right now and follow that feeling!

The Four Horsemen is a term coined by John and Julie Gottman to describe the four behaviours that most commonly predict divorce or relationship breakdown. They are:

🤔 Criticism: blame, judgement, disapproval, perceived character flaws
😤 Defensiveness: making excuses, shifting blame, deflecting responsibility
😶 Stonewalling: shutting down, withdrawing, going silent, cold shoulder
😒 Contempt: mocking, insulting, hostility and disgust

To counteract these destructive behaviours, couples must use Four Antidotes to replace the Four Horsemen.

❤️‍🩹 Gentle Startup: instead of focusing on a negative behaviour, begin with how you’re feeling and what you need. Use language that describes your experience.
✋🏼 Take Responsibility: own up to your behaviour, apologise, don’t take it personally
🧘🏻‍♂️ Self-Soothing: Learn to recognise when you’re becoming dysregulated and take a break to calm down before continuing the conversation
🫦 Share Fondness & Admiration: Give compliments, show affection, build mutual respect and appreciation

Do you recognise any of these in your current or past relationships?

The quality and longevity of a relationship isn’t necessarily related to how often a couple enters conflict - but instead to how they approach and move through difficult conversations.

The Four Horsemen of Marriage Apocalypse is a metaphor by John and Julie Gottman to describe the four behaviours that most commonly predict divorce or relationship breakdown.
