We are so thrilled to officially welcome the beautiful Emily to our Sol team.

Emily is a yoga teacher and mindfulness coach whose classes blend intelligent flow, breath awareness and nervous system–informed practice. Her teaching is grounded in the belief that yoga isn’t about pushing or perfecting, but about creating steadiness, ease and sustainability in both body and mind.

Emily believes the practices and teachings of yoga unfold much like the seasons; moving, shifting and ever-changing. Her greatest intention is to support students in embodying their season as it is, and to recognise their potential once the noise begins to quieten.
Her passion for psychology weaves through her teaching, alongside a deep respect for the energetic and spiritual dimensions of yoga.
She is continually exploring the intersection between science-informed practice and the subtle, energetic world, and how both can be delivered thoughtfully, accessibly and with integrity, in classes and in everyday life.

Her path has included founding community yoga spaces, teaching and leading at respected studios in Sydney, and ongoing study in psychology and mindfulness. Today, her classes offer thoughtful sequencing and steady flow, supporting students to move with presence and leave feeling grounded, calm and connected.

🌞 Mamas & Minis – Yoga & Pilates
Tuesdays | 11:00–11:45am
A soft, strengthening blend of yoga and Pilates to support your body while honouring the rhythm of motherhood. Move, breathe, pause, cuddle, feed your mini is welcome in it all. Children up to 10 can come along for free. No extra supervision will be present, so keep your mini close. Children are welcome to participate or just be in the space while mama moves.

🌞 Mums & Teens – Yoga
Thursdays | 3:30-4:15pm
A grounding yoga practice for mums and their teens, supporting nervous system regulation, emotional balance, building strength & flexibility and trust in body wisdom. A shared space to move, reconnect, and listen inward - together.
Ages 11-17
Fitness Passport accepted - Bookings required for both mother & teen.
Drop in adult - $20 Teen - $10

No experience needed.

Dylon is a Masters-qualified psychotherapist and breathwork facilitator who has spent the past decade helping men and women move from chaos into clarity. His background spans military service, community programs, and clinical leadership roles in alcohol and other drug recovery, giving him a rare balance of lived experience and professional depth.

Alongside his clinical work, Dylon has travelled and trained across Asia and the Pacific, exploring both the scientific and the more ancient, intuitive sides of breath and bodywork. This global experience shapes his approach: grounded, practical, and supported by both evidence and tradition.

With over 100+ clients supported through addiction, trauma, and life transition, Dylon blends breathwork, nervous system regulation, and clear psychological insight. He specialises in helping people reconnect with their bodies, settle the mind, and build inner strength to take on life fully.

Dylon’s work is compassionate without being soft, deep without being overwhelming, and always rooted in genuine experience. In every session he creates a safe, steady space where people can explore, shift, and breathe into a new direction.

As we move toward the energetic turning of the year in February, there’s a natural invitation to pause, clear, and recalibrate as we prepare for the energy that the Fire Horse is bringing.

In Traditional Chinese medicine, this time marks the shift into a new cycle - a movement from inward integration toward outward momentum. Before things speed up, the body often asks for space to settle, release, and realign.

This special journey weaves guided breath, sound healing, and kinesiology, with a focus on the Extraordinary Meridians - deeper pathways associated with adaptation, resilience, and long-term balance.

We’ll use breath to gently settle the nervous system, sound to support deep rest and healing, and kinesiology - with Erin Straker - to work with the body’s own intelligence, creating the conditions for clarity and renewal as we approach the new year energy.

What a year.

On a personal level, so much shedding and challenging moments. And so many beautiful connections & experiences.

What I love about this community, is the acknowledgement of the collective energy we share.

We are all riding the waves together, in our own time, with compassion for each other.

This year in our shala I’ve listened to stories of grief, trauma, illness, financial strain, and at the same time we share smiles about the beautiful place we call home, our children’s milestones, life celebrations, and the things that light us up.

I see people come together and embrace each other and begin to connect over yoga, surfing, music, climbing mountains, dancing and everything else in between.

This is what a special community feels like to me.
A space that always feels like home.
Where you can always show up as yourself. And feel safe in the familiar.

Moving through life with loving awareness of each other, remembering the power in connection.

If you have been a part of that here at Sol - THANK YOU 💖
I am truly grateful because as hard as some of these moments have been this year, every time I show up and see your friendly faces and genuine hearts, I feel peace. The connections I have made here have already brought so much to my life.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful energy here and bringing life to Sol. I hope you feel at peace here too.

And of course - big heartfelt gratitude for the instructors who show up and share their energy here everyday, making Sol everything it is, and providing the community here space to come home to themselves. Without you all - Sol would not be everything it is.

You are invited into a sacred, devotional free offering: 108 Sun Salutations, practiced not as a physical challenge, but as an act of intention, reverence, and inner ignition.

This is a devotional practice, not a test, with ample variations offered so you can participate in a way that feels true and respectful to your body.

This class is offered at no cost, as a gift - a thank-you for your dedication, your presence, and your ongoing commitment to practice here.

And if you need to cool down, immediately following, there is an intentional Yin class, led by Jules. A perfect place to rest, receive, and bask in the quiet glow of the inner sun awakened through your Sun Salute practice.
