Body, breath, and mind are intimately connected; a change in one is necessarily expressed in the others. The power of this interaction is such that you can use all three in unison. You can quiet your mind by quieting your breath; you can quiet your breathing by changing your activity. This is a key understanding in the practice of yoga.
The integrated application of all three body, breath, and mind - allows students to change, to outgrow limitations, and realize meaningful goals in their internal development and external lives.
In this practice of hatha yoga, we find the union in ourselves first: between body, mind and soul β and finally, we find balance in our external world as well. We become conscious within ourselves; find the oneness within us and around us.
This 90-minute class weaves mindful breathing (pranayama), conscious movement (asana), and concentrated meditation together to help integrate yoga into our daily lives.
