Behind the scenes

To be able to offer Health Fund Rebates to clients Therapists must be a part of an organisation. These organisation are responsible for the professional standards of there Therapists.

There are four main requirements to be a part of Massage and Myotherapy Australia, the organisation I am with.

Insurance;
Professional development;
Current First Aid; and
Ethics in Practice, which must be updated every 3 years.

That's another one ticked off

Afternoon All

Due to the current fires in our region and the forecast extreme heat tomorrow, I have made the decision to cancel all appointments scheduled for Tuesday, 27 January.

There is currently an evacuation order in place requiring community members to leave the areas listed below by dark this evening. While the main fire around us is out, there are still active hot spots and embers nearby, and we remain under a Watch and Act warning.

I am thinking of you all during this time. Please stay safe, remain vigilant, look out for one another, and take care when travelling.
