Advancing Care for Our Community 📚

This year for further education, Bobbie has enjoyed doing an online course on traumatic brain injury (including concussion), dementia, as well as attending a 2-day course on foot and ankle problems.

Bobbie completed a course on assisting patients after/ during breast cancer treatment. She completed the course 2022 in Melbourne.
Patients, after having breast cancer treatment, that experience persisting discomfort, breast or scar hardness / texture changes, or restricted movement of the breast, underarm or shoulder region may benefit. Gentle hands on techniques directed towards releasing and stretching through scar tissue and improving local circulation may assist.
Patients that are undergoing chemotherapy treatment and experiencing abdominal pain and bloating may also benefit and have possible relief with gentle Osteopathic techniques.
She is also committed to integrated care, liaising directly with your oncology team to ensure the best outcomes.

Osteopath Kirsty Kirkman has completed extra courses over the years and continues to expand her many skills in areas of treating infants and toddlers, within the clinic.

Kirsty's most recent training over 2 days was completing a course in Paediatric orofacial myology & Feed, Move, Thrive- paediatric examination and assessment, including oral tie assessment.

Kirsty is available Tuesdays and Fridays in the clinic. Making a booking online for your child has become easier, with a new update to select the correct appointment for these special appointments.
