ARE YOU OVULATING?

Ovulation is the highlight of our menstrual cycle - the hero, focal point, main event. 💥

It is the thing we are striving to achieve each and every cycle and is the event responsible for the production of progesterone and pregnancy.

If you are trying to conceive (TTC) regulating ovulation should be the primary focus as this is the only way to achieve natural conception.

We can suspect ovulation is taking place when we have a regular cycle, signs of fertile mucous and our basal body temperature sustains at an increased level throughout our luteal phase.

There are so many ways we can support the female body and her cycle - herbs, nutrients, diet + lifestyle.
Tracking the improvements through cycle charting enables you to physically see the progress and narrow down your most fertile window.
You can apply this fertility awareness method for both conception and contraception.

So, ditch the expensive ovulation predictor kits and learn a little more about your individual body + cycle.

Feel free to ask any Q’s on the topic. 🥰

CHRONIC GUT SYMPTOMS:
Common chronic gut symptoms will vary from person to person, they may range from bloating, belching, reflux, indigestion to constipating, loose stools and excessive wind.
Our instincts (and unqualified social media posts) generally point us in the direction of restrictive diets, diet fads such as low FODMAP, and eliminating major food groups like gluten, dairy, grains, soy and so on.

Gut health is SO so so so so SO much more complex than this. Taking a deeper dive into the gut microbiome and exploring WHY certain foods are triggering a response is KEY to getting answers and improvements.

If you feel as though your gut health could use some support, working 1:1 with a qualified health practitioner is your first step to combatting these issues.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

The silly season is creeping up slowly, so now is the perfect opportunity to prepare yourself for your prescription and appointment needs.

I will be taking herbal prescription orders up until Wednesday 21st December so please make sure you have everything you need to carry you through until early new year.

For those that are struggling to find suitable appointment times, I have opened 2 x additional Saturdays to accomodate.

I will be returning to work the week of the 10th January and will have very limited access to emails over the holiday period.

All appointments can be made via the link in my bio.

Happy almost holiday season.. 🌼🌻🌸🌈

The start of a new week can be a great opportunity to reset for the week ahead.

The smallest of changes can make a huge difference with eating well, moving well and resting well.

Here is what keeps me on track..

🌱 Planning out my meals for the week and shopping straight from my list (also saves with the shopping bill). No longer scrambling at the last minute trying to think of what is for dinner.

🌱Mapping out what my movement is for the week - booking classes ahead of time to keep me accountable.

🌱 I’ve given myself a set bedtime and routine, prioritizing rest and sleep hygiene to help me wake earlier and get more out of my mornings.

🌱Diaphragmatic breathing (or mediation for those that enjoy) before sleep, no phone in the bedroom and limiting evening work and time on my laptop.

I often suggest making one small change at a time, once that becomes your new normal or part of your new routine you can progressively build from there. Allowing you to make more long term sustainable health changes

P.s. How good are glorious friends that are also photographers. captured some sensational snaps of our beautiful little clinic space.

•OUT OF OFFICE•

I will be taking some time off from 7th October through to the 25th October.
Taking my glorious tiny humans on a road trip up north after a whopping year of work, renovations and life!
I won’t be contactable during this period (aside from all the holiday spam you’ll be seeing).
Please start to get in touch to arrange your herbal top-up’s and prescription needs in advance.

Now if you could please do all the things to keep the rain away so I can spend two weeks basking in the sun and floating in the ocean 🙏🏻 🙏🏻 !!🌊 🌞 🌈 🌻
