▫️Gummy smile▫️

Do you have a “Gummy Smile” when you smile?

This occurs due to excessive upwards elevation of certain muscles when smiling and can be in combination with the lip turning under when smiling. When people are stronger in these muscles, the resulting effect is a gummy smile.

Facial Contouring: Softening lines/wrinkles around the mouth, often referred to as the marionette lines.

Marionette lines can lead to the appearance of a downturned mouth, or a ‘sad’ face. This is due to a combination of factors including enlarging jowl fat pads, volume loss around the chin, and skin changes. These changes can exacerbate the line that runs from the corner of the mouth down to the chin/jawline, creating the ‘sad’ face at rest.
