Happy New Moon in Sagittarius ♐

New Moon at 1° Sagittarius with stationary Jupiter 😮 Nov 23, 2022 @ 4:56 pm Central / Costa Rica Time

Venus, Mercury, and the Sun have all moved into Sagittarius beginning an optimistic reprieve from the murky Scorpio eclipse waters through which we’ve recently trudged. Moon joins the group Wednesday when it meets Sun literally 5 MINUTES before Jupiter, the ruler of Sagittarius, stations direct (moves out of retrograde) in its other ruling sign of Pisces. This is a rare and potent combo which sets the tone for emergence of sparkly fantasies and renewed faith, stimulation of new perspectives, a sense of meaning, and wholistic understanding of the bigger picture over the next month.

We have an opportunity to rise like the phoenix out of *whatever that deep turbulent Scorpio process was* in order to to expand and joviate (is that a word?) into the next developmental stage. The extent to which we have plumbed the depths and been honest with ourselves re: our shadow work determines the trajectory on which we can shoot for the stars and conjure some castles in the sky. Capricorn season is when we will build the real foundations under them, so Sagittarius time is about exploring a flexible vision of what’s possible. Sagittarius = mutable (adaptation and learning about) fire (creativity and inspiration). It is also about integrating natural knowledge we have acquired thus far as Sagittarius is the centaur which represents the merging of human and beast.

Questions to ask: Now that I have reintegrated some previously repressed parts of myself through personal underworld excavation, what can I do with that in the overworld? What’s it all for, what’s the point, and what’s my part to play in the grand scheme? Where’s my inspiration coming from? Where am I aiming my archer’s arrow next?

When snakes shed their skin, they're in their most vulnerable state, where they need to isolate/hide themselves to not get attacked.
It's the same with the cocoon that develops into a butterfly.
Or the old bark that falls off the tree for a new layer.
We can find this renewing process everywhere in nature.

Letting go of the old is painful, scary and it is an uncomfortable process.
There is so much fear of the unknown and it is hard to fully sit with the grief, loss, even existential crisis and discomfort.

When are we ever really ready to let go of toxic situations, people or environments?
When are we ready to make space for a change?
When are we ready to embrace the new liberated version of ourselves?

Are you ready to let go and free yourself of what is no longer serving you?

It is okay to feel vulnerable and sad for the loss. You are not alone and incredibly strong if you are able to set yourself free by letting go of what is holding you back from becoming the phoenix that rises from the ashes.

You are safe
You are loved
You are not alone
You are strong
You are healing

You have the incredible strength to get through the heavy and dirty mud, so that you can grow into a beautiful lotus flower 💮

Before the enlightenment comes, there's always the darkness that we have to face first.

This is rebirth.

This Full Moon is creating necessary endings in the areas that rule Capricorn such as: career/jobs, personal goals, dreams, ambitions, & financial security.

Be sure to ground and find healthy ways to channel the heavy energy. Cleansing, smudging and purging work and home spaces is an excellent way to not only refocus, but it also invites to creating order within the home that will keep stress and anxiety away.

The polarity between a Cancer Sun and a Cap Moon is that of finding a better balance in our work life and our home life. It is encouraging us to nurture ourselves more and spend more time with loved ones. We were not born to work 24/7. With that said, avoiding responsibilities will not make them disappear. The Capricorn influence wants us to be more determined, responsible, and complete our daily tasks… while remembering to not get lost in all this work and practicing self-care often.

Capricorn’s ruler Saturn (which is in retrograde) rules over limitations, self-discipline, &karma. This Full Moon just may force us to rethink the level of productivity & integrity we carry. While a Cap Moon ushers us into a time of due diligence, it’s also making us recognize how we react to life’s difficulties. Are we ignoring what makes us uncomfortable? Are we pretending nothing is wrong when there’s loads to fix? Are we being honest with ourselves? Are we making time to find solutions? Are we being kind and honest?

1. Change the situation
2. Let go of it/ reject it
3. Accept it

Whatever is out of your hands and you can't change it or can't control it, you would need to let go of it or accept it.
It is a process that takes time. ✨
