A good night’s sleep doesn’t have to feel impossible.

When sleep feels elusive, it’s often not just one contributing factor. The nervous system, stress chemistry, and even gut health all playing a role.

That’s why our PureScript range brings together two formulations designed to work synergistically:

Lunara Sleep supports the foundations of calm and restorative sleep with:
• Inositol – supports calming neurotransmitter activity
• Taurine – helps regulate sleep–wake cycles
• Theanine – promotes relaxation and improves sleep quality
• Glutamine – supports gut health, a key contributor to restful sleep

Paired with Viverra Magnesium, featuring Magnesium Threonate and Magnesium Glycinate to support cognitive calm, nervous system regulation and deep muscle relaxation.

Together, they help create the internal conditions for sleep to come more naturally.

If you’ve been lying awake feeling wired but tired, this combination may be worth exploring.

Available in clinic and via our website.

💧 Water isn’t just about thirst... it’s about regulation 💧

With a hot weekend ahead in Melbourne, hydration matters more than hitting an arbitrary “2 litres a day.” That number ignores how your body actually uses water.

Here’s what dehydration really affects 👇

• Nervous system tone – Even mild dehydration increases cortisol and sympathetic drive. More water = more capacity to stay calm, clear and regulated in the heat.

• Blood viscosity & circulation – When you’re under-hydrated, blood thickens. That means your heart works harder, tissues get less oxygen, and fatigue hits faster.

• Detox pathways – Liver and kidneys rely on adequate fluid flow, not just function. Without enough water, waste clearance slows, especially in heat.

• Electrolyte balance – Sweating without replacing fluid (and minerals) can disrupt sodium–potassium balance, impacting energy, muscle function and focus.

• Cellular energy – Mitochondria require water to generate ATP efficiently. Less water = less energy at a cellular level.

In hot weather, hydration isn’t passive, it’s adaptive.

You’ll likely need more than 2L, spaced consistently through the day, and ideally paired with minerals or electrolytes.

Sip early. Sip often. Support your systems. Not just your thirst. 💧☀️

Call us cheeky 😉 but we can’t help noticing the US Government’s new food pyramid closely resembles MINT Clinic's dietary advice.

The U.S. government's 2026 Food Pyramid demonstrates a renewed focus on protein, dairy, and healthy fats, marking a significant shift away from decades of low-fat, high-refined-carbohydrate advice. Advice that coincided with rising rates of metabolic disease, pre-diabetes (now affecting over one-third of adults), and declining children’s health.

At MINT Clinic, this isn’t new thinking. It reflects what we see clinically every day:
nourishment matters, blood sugar balance matters, and quality protein and fats are foundational to energy, hormones, brain health, and long-term wellbeing.

Food is information and it’s encouraging to see policy beginning to reflect physiology.

Sometimes progress looks like admitting we got it wrong… and choosing better.

Today’s reminder: Feeling healthy and vital often begins with one simple step... the first appointment.

If you made a New Year’s promise to finally address that long-standing health concern… the one you’ve tried to ignore, manage, or fix on your own, then this is your sign.

You don’t need to have all the answers. You just need a starting point.

At MINT Clinic, we take the time to listen, investigate, and support you with thoughtful, integrative care, so you can move toward feeling more energetic, balanced, and like yourself again.

When you’re ready, we’re here.

Is wearable technology ruining your sleep? 💤😴

Many of us wear health-tracking devices with the best intentions - to understand our bodies better and support our wellbeing. But for some people, these devices may quietly interfere with sleep rather than improve it.

Wearables like the Hume Band, Oura Ring, or Apple Watch emit low-level electromagnetic fields (EMFs), particularly when actively syncing data overnight. While these levels are considered safe, EMFs can still stimulate the nervous system in sensitive individuals, making it harder for the body to fully relax into deep, restorative sleep.

If your sleep leaves you wanting more, it may be worth experimenting with a few simple changes:

✨ Switch off Bluetooth on your phone overnight
Your device will continue to track your sleep. It just won’t sync until you reconnect Bluetooth in the morning.

✨ Turn off Wi-Fi in the house at night
Reducing background signals can help create a calmer sleep environment.

✨ Make it easy with a smart plug
Add a smart plug to your Wi-Fi power point and control it from your phone. One tap before bed, Wi-Fi off. One tap in the morning, back on.

Sleep is about more than data. It’s about giving your nervous system the quiet it needs to truly rest. Sometimes, less tracking creates better sleep 🌙
