I am BACK after a brief hiatus (in which I became a director of a large multi-modality health practice in Melbourne in early 2020, built another concurrently, relocated both practices twice whilst navigating the pandemic terrain for our practices and patient community due to the looming threats of multiple developments with ‘I dream of jackhammer’ being their serenade - not ideal next to an acupuncture/osteopathy/massage relaxo time eh?).

Back with EVEN MORE BREATHY ENTHUSIASM THAN BEFORE (if that is even possible!)

Breath is SUCH an incredible tool for systemic health transformation. The problem is - most people are not doing it right!

BUT all you need to do is LEARN the nuances of healthful breathing, what exercises to do and when, to help to retrain your breathing patterns for good and BOOM - watch the flow of your body systems charge forwards to a much more vigorous and vivid experience of life. That is - much of your symptomatic woe gone.

DID YOU KNOW that the average person breathes 22,000 times per day?

22 THOUSAND (although, it should be more around 7200 for better health - 6 seconds in - 6 seconds out - more on that later).

Imagine if you did something 22,000 times per day - how long do you think it would take you to get pretty good at it?

That works in your favour AND in your detriment with breathing, because 22,000 time per day of it is mostly unconscious.

But if you GET conscious about your breathing, 22,000 times per day will turn things around pretty quickly don’t you think! (And even more so will 7,200 but the complexities of which I will not enter into at this time).

Chasing my Breath

For years I felt like I was chasing my breath.

In times of stress I would take big breaths, which I thought were deep, calming breaths, but never felt that I was getting the air I needed. My experience came packaged alongside a long and winding love affair with chronic anxiety and gut issues.

In efforts to optimise and soar past my health pitfalls I became dedicated to sorting out my diet, my lifestyle, and my mindset. I became qualified as a Naturopath, Nutritionist, and Herbalist, and moved to pristine Northern NSW where the whales weave the water and the breeze dances with joy.

Yet I was still chasing my breath. Edges of anxiety and gut issues needled at my sides in situations of stress. Annoying. Where was the relief? What piece was I missing?
