Yoga classes often move quickly, sometimes limiting the time to learn the correct alignment of each posture or learn its full potential. Ideal for all levels; beginners will gain confidence with the fundamentals while experience yogis can refine their alignment.

This workshop offers a dedicated space to break down the foundational poses that regularly appear in yoga classes, helping you better understand their traditional alignment, modern variations and how they can best work for your body. Building this understanding will increase your confidence and enjoyment of your regular yoga classes.

Whitney is a 200E-RYT/500RYT yoga and meditation teacher and trainer with experience in various yoga styles and teacher training settings. With almost 4,000 hours of accredited trainings, she finds a vast passion in facilitating spaces for more profound depths in these life-altering traditions.

Keen to hear a little more about how weโ€™ll โ€˜runโ€™ things?

Over the eight weeks, each social run will progressively balance time, distance and pace, using a combination of walking, jogging and running to build our collective aerobic capacity and endurance needed to target 5km of continuous running.

Focusing on aerobic capacity helps both beginning and returning runners: newcomers build a strong foundation, while regular runners can safely increase their weekly mileage. Plus, the added benefit of group accountability and social connection makes it a win-win!

Each 40 to 45min session will consist of;
โ€” Warm up drills
โ€” A social group run
โ€” Cool down mobility

Facilitated by the studioโ€™s own Emma Keesing, Pilates Teacher and certified Recreational Run Coach.

Yoga is for EVERYbody

Yoga is for EVERYbody. And everybodyโ€™s Yoga is different. I Am That โ€“ Yoga is, above all, a community. A safe space where everybody feels like Yoga is for you. A place where every single staff member and teacher is welcoming, supportive, friendly and warm.

The world is filled with spaces that are intimidating and exclusive. So we decided to do things differently. Yes, the space is beautiful and the teachers and students are too. Some of us could even do great looking, fancy poses if you asked us to. You might also leave some classes sweating and exercised. But here, Yoga comes first.

What does that mean? Wear whatever you like, look however you like and do whichever class or pose suits you best (including a 60 minute Shavasana if that is what you need). As long as you are breathing you are exactly how you should be, doing exactly what you should be doing.

Come along. And just be you with I Am That - Yoga.
