In July 2015 I completed a funeral services course. The death of a loved one is the most difficult time for close family and friends. As a funeral celebrant I visit the family and we talk about the life their loved one lead, from the very early childhood days, work life, family life, achievements, hobbies and interests. This enables me as a celebrant to put a service together which tells the story
, a special story reflecting on such a life. Quite often it is not until we listen to a eulogy at a funeral that we realise how much we didn't know about our family and friends. This is a service I feel very privileged to be a part of and to be able to offer some comfort and support to my clients during this time is of the most importance to me.
