✨ National Pain Week 2025: July 21st - 27th! ✨
Did you know an estimated 3.6 million Australians are living with chronic pain? That's a significant number of people whose lives can be profoundly impacted, limiting their ability to work, socialise, and enjoy the activities that matter most. This often leads to feelings of loneliness and marginalisation. At Manning Physio, we're passionate about changing this narrative and empowering individuals in the chronic pain community to live with less pain and do more of what they love!
Pain, whether acute or chronic, is one of the biggest reasons people come to see us. It can stop us from living life to the fullest and often co-exists with other challenging symptoms like fatigue, poor sleep, brain fog, stiffness, weakness, anxiety, and depression.
This National Pain Week, we want to shed light on the complexities of pain and offer practical support. We've just published a brand new blog post offering general tips on how to approach exercise when you're experiencing acute or chronic pain. It explores crucial questions like: When should you push through pain, and when is it best to take it easy?
