Life asks us to rise with courage and bow with grace. To hold a strong spine and a tender heart. On the mat, we practice this so that off the mat, we can live it.

In yoga, this balance is called Sthira (steadiness) and Sukha (ease)—the art of being strong without hardening, and soft without collapsing.

This Wednesday at ComoYoga Collective, we’ll explore that balance through movement and breath.

There’s nothing quite like moving your body while the rain taps on the tin roof, the heater humming away, and you’re wrapped in cosy vibes with blankets and eye pillows waiting for you in savasana.

A little movement goes a long way on days like this; it helps shift the heaviness, clear the mind and leave you feeling calmer and more grounded (and honestly, I’ve never once regretted showing up for a class).

This Wednesday is our final class before a short winter break, and we’re closing the term with a gentle dive into Samādhi, the 8th limb of yoga.

For me, Samādhi isn’t some faraway spiritual state. It’s those fleeting moments after practice when everything softens. The mind quiets, the body settles, and I feel completely at home in myself.

Come join us to move, breathe, and soften into yourself one more time before we pause.

This week at ComoYoga we’re exploring Dhyana; the 7th limb of yoga.

Meditation, yes. But not the kind where you try and sit still and clear your mind.

Because let’s face it, the mind will fluctuate. That’s what it does. Dhyana is about noticing. Returning. Coming back to your breath. Your body. This moment. Time and time again.

Midweek reset, anyone? Join me tomorrow at 5.30pm for a gentle Vinyasa flow ended with a short meditation.

This week, we’re working with the 6th limb of yoga: Dharana, the practice of concentration or focus. And let’s be honest, that’s not always easy when life can pull us in multiple directions.

But on the mat, we get to practice tuning in. One breath at a time. One shape at a time.
Movement becomes meditation.

Class is $15 and open to all levels.

Come to yoga tonight — even if the couch is calling.

I almost didn’t go to Yin last night. It was cold, I was tired, and honestly, Mobland (tv show) was looking pretty good.

But I showed up… and within minutes, everything shifted.

My breath deepened, my mind softened, and I left feeling like myself again.

Movement is medicine — even gentle movement. Especially when you don’t feel like it.

So if you're on the fence, take this as your sign to come to yoga. You’ll feel better for it!

I don’t know about you, but by the time Wednesday rolls around, I often feel like I’ve been holding my breath just to get to mid-week.

So this week in class, we’re coming back to it — the breath.

We’ll explore Pranayama, the 4th limb of yoga, and how this simple, steady rhythm can bring us back home to ourselves.

If you need a midweek reset, I’d love to see you there.

All levels welcome. Wear comfy and warm clothes (we do have heating to keep you cosy) $15 🧘🏻‍♀️
