Is it just me… or does anyone else THRIVE on leaving everything until the last minute?

I know I freak out all my ultra-organized friends — but somehow, everything always works out!! 🫣✨😆

It’s been 10 years since I’ve traveled overseas… and in true Heidi style, I booked my flights + accommodation less than a week ago.

I’m flying out in TWO DAYS! ✈️

So… what are your BEST travel tips + packing hacks?

Drop them below 👇

Found this photo today.

I had no idea there was a memorial up on the rock, on the hill.

My beautiful mate Prue was killed in a plane crash on the June long weekend in ’93, heading home to Young to see her family. She was only 14.

Two other boarders, Alanda and Jane, and four others were on that flight too.

Still hits hard 🕊️

If anyone else knew them, sending you so much love and if you’re up for it I’d love to hear a memory!

We miss you!

Grief doesn’t disappear. It just shifts shapes 🫶🏼

Not gonna give you my life story - just a damn good soup recipe after so many of you reached out after I posted this pic in my stories the other day.

✨Chicken, Cannellini Bean and Kale soup ✨

1 leek finely chopped
5 kale leaves stripped and chopped
10 garlic cloves thinly sliced (I’m a garlic fiend so adjust accordingly 😉)
1/3c Olive oil
500g chicken thighs
1 TB coriander seeds roughly crushed
2 X cans cannellini beans rinsed and drained
6 C water (may need to add more…adjust to water down soup to your liking)
Chicken stock (I use a homemade paste…I usually add 1tsp per Cup of water)
1C risoni pasta (I added 1.5c because I LOVE pasta. You do you)

Heat oil.
Add chicken thighs, season and brown on each side. Remove chicken from pan and dice.
Add coriander seeds to pan and cook for a minute or two.
Add leeks and cook for five minutes or so until softened. Add more oil if necessary, push everything to one side and then add garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Add beans, pasta, stock and water, bring to boil and simmer until pasta is almost cooked.
Add kale and simmer for a few minutes. Check seasoning.

To serve…choose your poison…maybe add some lemon, chopped parsley and chilli flakes.

Share with someone you think might inhale this!

If this made you pause. Sit with it 🤍

Your body isn’t just storing tension.

It’s holding your whole life story.

~ Mango, Turmeric and Coconut Overnight Oats ~

An old favourite of mine in the warmer months, this high fibre, high protein, energy boosting, anti-inflammatory meal will keep you fuelled and feeling full for hours! So easy to throw in your esky, or to just grab and go when you’re pressed for time.

1/3c rolled oats
1/3c milk of your choice
50g (heaped dessert spoon) yoghurt or coconut yoghurt
Optional-1 tsp natural sweetener (honey or maple syrup)
1tsp-1Tb chia seeds (adjust to suit desired consistency)
1tsp turmeric latte powder (optional)
1tsp turmeric powder/paste
Sprinkle of chopped almonds
Sprinkle of toasted coconut flakes
Handful of frozen mango

You can also add protein powder, collagen powder etc if that’s your jam.

Combine all ingredients apart from coconut and almonds in a jar.
Mix well, top with extra yoghurt, mango, coconut and almonds.
Put it in the fridge overnight to work its magic while you sleep! Make 2 or 3 at a time, you’ll thank me in the morning 😉

Drop a 🥭 if you’re going to give this one a crack!

What an EPIC 4 day immersion with as part of the breathwork facilitator training. It’s so hard to put this experience into words! 🔥

There’s a certain magic in trusting your intuition. In taking one step at a time without always knowing where it leads. Allowing yourself to evolve and expand.

This Breathwork Facilitator training is another puzzle piece falling into place for me — a piece I didn’t even know I needed.

Excited to integrate this with my offerings and share this magic with you! 💫

Yesterday we wrapped up Level 2 Spinal Energetics training in Melbourne.

I love connecting with like-minded souls that travel from all corners of the globe to learn, laugh and cry together.

We had the most beautiful group of fellow practitioners , the most huge-hearted, humble and knowledgeable teachers .ig .flow_ and this absolute POWERHOUSE

Sarah, I hope you know how much we love, respect and appreciate you for putting ALL of yourself into creating this modality and being so very brave in putting yourSELF out there to share the healing powers of spinal energetics with the world 🫶🏼

I thought my mind was blown when I did Level 1, but WOW….Level 2 literally has me lost for words.

This work is POWERFUL.

I can’t wait to share it with you.

This photo blows my mind.

If you’d told me 25 years ago, back when I was fresh out of school at Ag College, that I’d end up here — teaching yoga & meditation, running retreats, offering spinal energetics sessions, and holding space for so many beautiful souls — I’m not sure I would’ve believed it. And honestly, neither would any of my mates! Am I right guys?😆

I spent years searching outside myself for healing, never imagining that down the track I’d be the one helping others find their way.

Here’s what I’ve learned: being in this space doesn’t mean forcing anything or having it all figured out. It’s about being authentic, following your heart, embodying what you teach and creating a safe space for others to be seen and heard. It’s about allowing things to unfold naturally as you walk alongside those on their own journey.

I never saw this coming, but it’s turned into my life purpose.

Life doesn’t always go according to plan, but sometimes that’s where the magic happens. What’s been your unexpected twist? I’d love to know 🫶🏼

Starting anything new can be intimidating and make you question yourself.

Whenever the inevitable imposter syndrome starts creeping in, I always think of these words that one of my teachers shared with us in my first yoga teacher training.

They stuck like glue.

He said….”You’ve got to be willing to show up and suck before you show up and shine”.

When I ventured into the city and walked into a yoga studio to embark on my training to become a yoga teacher many years ago, I had literally only practiced yoga in person TWO times.

I was absolutely terrified that I’d made the wrong decision, and that no-one in our little country town was going to want to learn yoga, let alone from ME!

It takes courage to start something new.

I put teaching off for months, as I made excuse after excuse as to why I couldn’t make it happen.

I felt physically sick before I taught my first class. BUT…. I did it, and I’m so bloody proud that I took the leap. It’s lead my down a path that I would NEVER have imagined I would be on!

As I step into something new once again, these words came to mind today. A great reminder that we aren’t always going to be incredible when we first start out.

Embrace the beginners mindset.

Keep showing up.

Do the work.

Keep learning.

Don’t shy away from the hard parts—they’re shaping your path forward.

What’s something new you’ve been afraid to start?

I’d LOVE to know 👇🏼
