Lately I’ve been pushing myself out my comfort zone, showing up on socials after being inconsistent for years, focusing on supporting my mindset after focusing on my body and soul for years, and coming into true alignment with who I Am.

It’s been a deep journey, of grief, challenge, joy, trust. pain, surrender, love and everything in between. There’s been times where I’ve questioned why the f*ck did I sign up to this life!!!

But still here, still believing, still trusting, still following those inner calls from spirit and really finding that I’m breaking through fears that have kept me small for so long.

I made a commitment to myself, to God (the Universe / Spirit) that I am here; I’m all in, and I’m ready for you to really work through me. I am a vessel for light, for love. I am light, I am Love.

And with the authenticity came reward. Unexpected income, unexpected joy, unexpected invitations.

It didn’t take long.

We have the power to create change… And quickly.

This morning, I had a revelation: I’ve been living with depression for almost three years, and I didn’t realise it until today.

It began right after my wedding- a time that was meant to be filled with love and joy, but instead, was clouded by grief. My beloved dog, Ralph, passed away shortly after I got married. To make it harder, I got married without my family present due to the Covid restrictions. I was navigating so much- grief, isolation, and the beginnings of a new life chapter, but I never realised the weight I was carrying. I knew it was a lot, but I couldn’t see it the way I see it now.

Maybe it was the distraction of life, the endless list of things I’ve been creating and doing in the time since- launching a womb healing business, hosting retreats, supporting hundreds of women through trauma and transformation, being a step-mum, a wife, launching a podcast, and more. It wasn’t like I didn’t have moments of joy- because I did- but something had dimmed inside me.

Looking back now, I can see how my grief became a quiet, constant undercurrent that I couldn’t shake. On the surface, I was achieving so much. But underneath, something had shifted. All these big life moments and losses combined, and I was surviving... not truly living.

But what I now see is that the waters of my womb had overflowed and extinguished my inner fire. In my womb awakening teachings, the left o***y represents water, and the right represents fire. Through this lens, in meditation this morning, I realised that the water-my emotions and grief- had flooded my womb, stagnating my energy and putting out my fire. My inner spark, my drive, my passion- they’ve been drowning. I was stuck in survival mode, unable to recognise how deeply the grief had consumed me.

It wasn’t until a casual conversation with my husband this morning, where I offhandedly said, “Well, I’ve been depressed for years,” that he replied, “I’m glad that you can see that now.”

As we begin our new lunar year with the new moon in Aquarius, we also step into the year of the Dragon (Chinese New Year).

The dragon energy is a wonderful ally to support your dreams and bring them into fruition.

This ritual includes the soothing waters of Aquarius and channeling the dragon through the breath of fire.

For those in Perth, I’m running a workshop this weekend which includes a feminine style of breathwork (not the breath I included in this ritual), which is deep, transformational and healing. Along with connecting to your soul self and manifesting your desires this workshop is perfectly aligned as we begin this lunar cycle. ❤️

Hello beautiful followers!
With the rebrand, I thought it’s a perfect opportunity to share some random facts about the woman behind Living With Love:

I’m a massive fan of musicals and love to go to the theatre.

Maltesers are my guilty pleasure.

I married my husband on 22.02.22. Three years after we met. We met on the beach 🏖️

My dog Ralphie died in 2022, 6 weeks after I got married. I was heartbroken. This sent me into a huge deep journey into grief.

Although I’d love to get another dog, we decided we wanted to travel a little more, so for now I look after other people’s dogs to get my dog fix.

I used to teach dancing (ballet, tap, theatre) to kids.

I hold a first class honours degree.

I have a cuppa every night. Can’t get the English out of me!

My fav music genre is the 60s! For my 18th I had a 60s & 70s fancy dress party. It was amazing!

My second toe is bigger than my first.

I’m a step mother to 2 kids, this was one of the biggest initiations of my life.

I grew up in Huddersfield, a town in Yorkshire. The kids love my yorkshire puddings but can’t seem to say Yorkshire right. It’s York-shur not York Shy-er!

I have 2 siblings. One in London, one in Dubai; so 3 different continents between us!

I moved to Australia in 2014 and did 3 months of raspberry picking to extend my visa another year before receiving permanent residency. I have only just come round to enjoying raspberries again.

As we embark on the new lunar year next month, it’s the perfect time to plant new seeds of intention and manifest in truth with your soul.

Join me in my in person Future Self workshop here in Perth as we let go of the ego desires and allow the desires to be birthed from the soul self. We will tap into the dragon energy with the feminine breathwork practice of Dragon Shakti Breathwork and allow the Shakti energy to move and clear anything that is not in alignment with your Truth.

This style of breathwork is deep and embodied, and has the ability to transform, transmute and heal, allowing you to rest and “dream” from a balanced, aligned and true state, led by the soul self.

We will then tap into our creative fire as we begin to create a personalised vision board and close with a share and of course herbal tea.

I’ve been away for a little while as I deepened my connection with the Divine, my womb and subsequently building a whole new brand .

And I’m so excited and happy to back with after I took a step to reassess this brand and what I / it wants to be.
So here we are, an ever evolving brand that grows with me! Let me re-introduce to you Living With Love - with a a whole new look, brand new website and a freshness that feels oh so spacious!

It’s still me behind the brand, expect a more embodied me, a whole me, an integrated and peaceful me. Hence; as well as the fresh look and feel of the brand, a re integration of my birth name, Ciara. You will see from here on, both my birth name and my middle name, together, as one. And you can call me either as both feel really good!😊

I will endeavour to be sharing more consistently again across this platform; think inspiration, motivation, joy and abundance! And of course, expansion ❤️

So please feel free to have a browse across my new site livingwithlove.co. There’s still a few tweaks across the site to be made, but for the most part you will be able to get a feel for the brand and the direction of this work.

My offerings here still include private and group mentorship, yoga, reiki plus self-based learning programmes and events and workshops including women’s wellness monthly moon circles ❤️
