Coogee Yoga An Iyengar yoga studio in Coogee. Coogee Yoga is an Iyengar yoga studio that opened in April 2017. The studio is situated in the grounds of St Brigid's Parish.

It is a light-filled, warm and welcoming space, dedicated to the Iyengar method of yoga. There is a strong focus on practice based learning with students taught how to develop a safe and systematic progression in to yoga postures. You do not need to be flexible or 'physically' inclined. Following the principles of the yogic method even for a short time will bring you results that can be felt in your daily life. Take the first step toward a more skilful, responsible and conscious approach to your health and well-being.

Two wonderful new teachers have joined our team & will commence teaching in February. We are thrilled to welcome both Bertha Shakinovsky and Andrew Lim to our Coogee Yoga community ! 🎉🎉

If you have been practicing in Iyengar circles for a while you probably know Bertha, who has been deeply involved in the Iyengar Yoga community for decades & is very much respected by us all. She in fact taught many of our teachers and continues to inspire!

Andrew is also a wonderful teacher in his own right, with a highly dedicated practice and service to the Iyengar community. On top of their skill and experience they are both very lovely people!!
